Chapter 12

(Dipper Pov)

I wake up feeling someone shaking my shoulder gently. I open my eyes and see Bill, him dressed differently than normal. Instead of his usual tux he's wearing a white turtleneck with a yellow sweater vest with his usual black trousers and dress shoes. "Get up and get dressed, Dipper."

"Bill? What's going on?" I ask as I sit up rubbing my eyes. I look out the window and see it's a full moon, snow gently falling to the ground at a slow but steady pace.

"I want to take you someplace, someplace really special so come on."

"But is it safe? W-What about Ford and Mabel?"

"There has been no sign of them for months. Now come on." He grabs my hands pulling me out of bed.

I get dressed into the clothes he picked out for me, a white button up shirt with a red sweater and my usual jeans and sneakers. He takes me by the hand and practically drags me outside, the cold noth bothering us surprisingly as he takes us into the forests. "Bill, how come the cold doesn't bother us?"

"Because as vampires our body temperatures are already naturally cold. It's not like it can get any colder."

"Where are you even taking me?"

"We're here." We stop walking and I look around, it seeming familiar but I can't think of why. "This is where we first met. Where we first spoke, where I saw you for the first time. Storming away from home out of anger at your sister." He stands behind me, his hands gripping my sides tightly. I look at him as he rest his chin on my shoulder, his cheek pressed up against mine as a smile lays on his lips. "I remember how fast your anger turned to fear once I grabbed you from behind. How your blood tasted better than anything else. And how absolutely terrified you were when you finally realized what I was."

"Why did you bring me here exactly?"

"Because I wanted to spend some time with you, away from all the noise of the castle." He softly kisses my cheek as he begins singing something in my ear. "Let it out

He cups my cheek in his hand as our lips connect. It feels like this moment could last forever until I hear a loud bang come from behind Bill. We separate and my eyes widen seeing a bullet fall from his chest, his dark blood quickly staining his clothes. "No no no!" I put my hand over the wound trying to stop the bleeding feeling tears stinging my cheeks.

"Dipper..." I look up at him as he cups my cheek in his hand, blood leaking from his mouth. "No one else but us.....we only need us....." He says before his eyes close and he falls to the ground unconcious.
