Kamri’s POV

“Oh yeah!  I’m holding the arms of my beloved homie.  I don’t want to let go of it anymore. I can feel the muscles in his arms. Shit! It has grown stronger.” I stared  at Calvin while thinking as we entered the café.  It had been three years since I saw a glimpse of his face.  He looked different now compared to few years ago.  Back then, he had been  a bit chubby,  got a small beer-belly, had  red locks but now, he appeared so macho.  He even changed the way he dressed up.  He had grown muscles, firm one.  His jaw line became defined which exposed the masculinity in him.  Oh shit.  The way he brushed up his hair attracted me.  I couldn’t take my eyes off of him.  I didn’t want to remove my gaze at him.  I would never be fed up of staring at him all day long, all night long and even for eternity.  I thought I had gotten over this man but hell, no.

“hmmm.” Calvin cleared his throat.

Damn. I’d been holding him for quite a long time.  I let go of him and smiled.

“I really miss you!” I giggled while looking at him.  He smiled back at me and called me crazy.

“You know…” while looking at him. “ You are different now! You were not the pretty girl whom I used to know.” I said.

“ahahhaha…. Stop it homie.  Ive been always the man.  The man.” Showing off his muscles.

“Ehhh.  Stop pulling my leg homie.  Shut up. “ I raised my eyebrows showing a disagreeing look and smirked at him.

“Why  do you always tease me like that?” He asked.

“Coz you are beautiful.” I replied.  It was an implied way of saying I liked you but he never recognized it. Damn.

Ice came out of the pantry and greeted us. “Good evening guys. I’m glad to see you. I’ve just done wrapping things up in here.”

“Let’s go home, Ice!” I said.   I babbled around the café doing non sense.

“Wait a minute. My friend will drop by in here. Could we wait for him? He is on his way.” Calvin begged while popping his cute eyes.

“Okay.” Ice and I replied.

“How was your day my dear twinee?” I asked as she turned her gaze to me who was walking around the table.

“hmmm.. great but hate it.” I replied while staring at the ceiling.

“What do you mean by that?” Ice asked and she grabbed a chair to have a seat.

“hmm… You know..” running towards Ice. “I discovered something interesting about Blake “The monster” Davis.”  I chattered softly placing my hands towards my mouth.

“Oh… what is it? He likes you?” Ice speculated.

“Nah! It’s not what you are thinking.”  I tapped her shoulder and placed my hands inside my pocket.

“It’s not.  You know… sometimes, monsters have fears and my freakin boss is such a scaredy cat, a chicken.  OMG! Imagine, I waited for him because he was so afraid to be alone in the floor. He jolted when the lights flickered.  See…. I kind of guy like him that almost women desire to have him is such a dope. “ I said.

“Really? Are you sure about that? Maybe, he wanted to be with you all along.” She teased.

“Knock it off!” I hissed.  The chimes of the entrance door interrupted our conversation.  A young asian looking guy entered the café.  Calvin greeted him and did the fist bump with him.  He must have been Calvin’s friend.  Ice’s eyes widened as she saw that guy.  I knew he was Ice’s type.
