Ice’s POV

“Omg! Where the hell is room 205?” I sped up and checked the numbers in each and every room.  I was already in panic mode.  I didn’t know what to do at all as soon as I received a call from the hospital.  At last, I found the room.  Without any further a do, I twisted the doorknob and opened the door.  I saw Kamri lying on the bed, oxygen tube in her nostril and she was asleep.  She still looked pale.  There was a man standing beside her bed arranging the flowers on the left side table.

“Excuse me? How is she?” I asked worriedly.

The man turned his head and looked at me from top to bottom.  He seemed so familiar to me.  I tried to recall when and where I met that guy.  He was quite a lean asian guy.  He had a cute feminine looking face.  He glued his eyes on me.

“Excuse me? How is she?” I asked again.

“Come.  Sit down.  You must be Ice Collins.  I know how worried you are about her.  Chillax.  I will tell you all the things the doctor told me.  he said.”  He pulled a chair and requested me to have a seat.  I grabbed the chair and placed it closer to Kamri’s bed.  He rested his back on the wall crossed his arms and looked at me.  I didn’t like the way he stared at me.  I felt like melting.

“Could you spill the beans, please? She is my bestfriend.  Please tell me that she is fine,…… okay…” Tears dropped from my eyes.  I didn’t notice that I was already crying.

“hmmmm….” He cleared his throat. I’m so sorry about the situation.  I haven’t got any clue why it happened to her that night.  I was at the party.  Kamri went out together with Blake, I’m sure you know that monstrous guy.  I was so shocked when 911 came.  I went out of the function room to know what the commotion outside was about.  When I saw the unconscious body of Kamri on the stretcher, my adrenaline sparked like a bolt of thunder and rushed her in here.  Don’t worry she is safe now.”

“What is the diagnoses?” I but in.

“Okay.. okay… relax…  The doctor said she was extremely exhausted and stressed that caused her heart to palpitate to the extreme level that it choked her.  Do you have any idea about your bestfriend’s health history? He asked curiously.

“No, I don’t.   She seemed okay.  She has been healthy.  I know how stressed and exhausted she is lately but it never comes to that point where her body shut down. “ I exclaimed hysterically.

“I need to talk to the doctor now…. Now! “ I stood up from my seat and demanded like a boss.

“Relax!  The doctor will be here soon.  Take it easy.”  He assured me and smiled back at me.  He gave me a wink.  I stared at him examining his physique and appearance.  Had I met this person before?  He looked s familiar.  Where? Where? Where?

Tada! Was he the guy in the café few weeks ago?  The one I called my secret admirer.  I shook my head and bit my lower lip.

“Hey! You okay?” He tapped my shoulder asking if I was fine.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” I replied.

Suddenly, he put his hand on his pocket and pulled some paper roses.
