We ran down the halls looking into every room we pasted by. Eventually we came into a room, that was especially big. The columns along the sides were fairly damaged, and there were rifles along the floor.

"So, you think this is it, huh?" said Kason.

"Nowhere to run. Why don't you give it up?" Remus said.

"Even if you destroyed the prototype, there are more elsewhere."

"What!?" I said, pulling out my rifle and aiming it at Kason's head, "Where!".

"Hahaha, your puny threats are usless. Ill give you this, they aren't your main concern."

"Where!?" I yelled.

"It's to late. You will all die with this planet."

"What are you talking about?" Questioned William.

"The covenant." He said.

"But, we have a treaty with them.." said Derek.

"No, you have a treaty with the elites."

"Oh my god...." I ran out the room.

"Hahahahahahahahaha!!" Kason laughed.

"Shut up." Remus shot him in the head.

"We ran outside and boarded the pelican waiting for us.

"Where to, sir?" said the pilot.

"New Garrison Naval Headqaurters!" I yelled.

"Sir, we aren't allowed--"

"It's a priority 1! Go!" I yelled

"Connor, what's the meaning of this!" Commander Leonard met me on the deck of a carrier.

"Sir, the covenant are on route to Harmony...." I said.

"But we have a treaty." He said.

"Not with the covenant themselves." I said.

"Oh no...." he ran to the upper deck.

"Commander Samuel!!! We have a Big Problem!! Priority 1 Evacuation. Proxy Clock, Covenant Enbound!!!" He closed the com stream.

"Connor, this planet will not survive... Another attack from the covenant... We have to evac what we can." He said

"Sir, what can we do?" I asked.

"Leave" he handed me a file screen.

"Wait.... What?" I said in a stutter.

"This is the command card of the 1st class frigate 'Highlight Of Harmony'. It's a secret project out in the desert region of Grebrio Station. Your the new commander. Take your men and go!" He walked off before I could say anything.

The flight to Grebrio Station was quite. We didn't know what to say. I mean, we were upping leaving the planet we grew up on, to go on an evac frigate, that was secretly mobilized into a 1st class, Pierce class. I mean, what could we talk about. The planet was going to die, and there is nothing we could do. And then I had an idea.

We entered the bridge, and I placed in the command card. It welcomed me, like I was supposed to have it. I didn't worry about how that was possible, I had other things on my mind.

"Commander Samuel, and Leonard." The computer opened up a chat room.

"Connor.." Samuel said in a null voice.

"I have an idea to lewer most of the attacking force!"

I explained the plan to fly a group of frigates outside the system, to lewer the brunt of the attack. This would allow a small gap of time to escape. They would follow us, as and friendly elite party of Corvettes would be waiting for them. The agreed to send 5 assist frigates, and went ahead and called in the favor from the elites.

"Ok, we know the plan." I explained to the ship's crew," I prey we all survive, and get to return home."

We took off, along with the assist frigates.

"Sir, the plan is working. A battalion of covenant vessel broke off the attack pattern and are on route to this location." said Alaster, the flight commander.

"Excellent! Ok, hit it!" the frigates jumped into hyperspace/slip-space and the vessels followed.

We arrived at the Ronde-view point
And the elites were waiting.

"Shipmaster....." I started.

"Greetings Connor, may our fight be a valiant one." he said.

"Agreed."
