Chapter 1

Present Day

New Krio,

Planet Harmony

It was COD day. A day were commanders would switch there positions. It wasn't long before we got a hail from General Thompson.

"This is a level 3 priority hail to Central command of New Krio." said the intercom projecting the generals voice.

"We read you Thompson, how long until you reach Krio?" said General Levi, who was our current commander

"6 days, won't be long." he responded.

"Why don't you just jump in slip space?" Asked Levi.

"Something hit us as we left atmosphere and damaged most of our equipment. Don't worry we will be there ahead of schedule."

"Yes sir." Levi ended the call.

"Sir?" I asked.

"Oh nothing Connor, you and Remus just get some shut eye. ill be fine."

"Yes sir"

"I wonder what hit them in atmosphere? Couldn't be a meteor, couldn't be enemy fire." said Remus.

"Who knows, but I guess we will find out soon enough." I said

5 days later

"Connor", Remus shouted," Come on the generals here."

"What? but its only been--"

"COME ON!"

"I'm coming."

"--And to all my fellow soldiers I support you on your journey home."

Crowd cheers.

"Well, at least we caught the last part."

"If that last part was important than I wouldn't be worried." I said.

"Wow, you don't care about people's return home? Damn you a cold ass nigga." Remus said as we walked off.

"To all personnel, All personnel, leaving or entering the planet, are not allowed to do so unless approved by General Thompson." Said the announcement, "Also any comm hails or calls will be directed to the generals office. That is all."

"Ok this is bullshit!" yelled a trooper.

"Yeah I got a family!!" Yelled another soldier.

"All of you calm down, we will be fine." said Remus.

"Also," began the announcer,"Pelicans are not allowed to leave unless directed by the general."

"ALRIGHT NOW THAT IS JUST BULLSHIT!!!!!" Screamed Remus.

"Ill go talk to him." I said.

Generals courtiers

"Ok, I want it all off!" said the general.

"Sir, do you want the master switch?" said a soldier.

"Ye--"

"Thompson!!!" I yelled.

"Ah, Connor what a pleasant surprise." He said with a smirk.

"Not really. Lemme ask you something Ever heard of the 53rd amendment!? Right to leave planet?"

"Well Connor I have. But, ever heard of the Generals order rule?"

"Yes, but that is only allowed during a time of war!"

"Corporal, please leave the room."

"Yes sir." he stood up and left the room.

"Listen Connor; this is my station command! Not yours!! Connor you don't want to get on my bad side! So stand down!"

"No sir!"

I stood up and walk out. All the sudden the alarm went off and the announcer rang.

"All officials, Spartan 132, A.K.A. Connor March, has opened fire on General Thompson. All hands are to secure Connor March dead or alive. That is all."

"Oh shit!" i said

"There he is!!! Get him!!" Said a group of soldiers.

I ran down the halls, with soldiers shooting and following me. I ran into the hanger to find a place to hide.

"You two, that way." Said one soldier.

"Fuck." I whispered.

"I see you!" shout a soldier.

"Ok, you got me." I said.

All the sudden a bullet went through the soldiers head and the following soldier was knocked out.

"You fuckin bitch giving up like that."

Said Remus standing behind the two soldiers bodies.

"I wasn't gonna give up. I was waiting for an opening."

"Ha that's what she said!" yelled Remus.

Right after his yell soldiers were running down the hall towards us.

"Really did you have to say that!?"

"Yes! it was the perfect--"

Shots flew over our head as the soldiers got closer.

"Run!" I yelled.

We ran down the hall as the soldiers following us grew in size.

"Shirley!," I began," Get the pelican ready!!"

"Wait why? And why did you shoot at the general!?" she yelled.

"I didn't! Look I'll explain when we are in the pelican!"

"Ok hurry up!!" Shirley yelled as she opened the back of the pelican.

We jumped in the back of the pelican and flew out of the bay.
