The city was madness. Cars would fly by barely missing us.
"Where are we going!?" shouted Torres as he push his way through the crowd of people running away from the crash area.
"We have to get off the streets Remus!" I shouted.
"We have to get to the subway station!" shouted Remus as he pushed his way into the subway tunnel.
The silence of the subway was masked by the sound of Falcons and rescue vehicles moving above us.
"Why are we here?" asked Torres.
"Because, I saw a blueprint of the cities subway tunnels in Alexandra's house." said Remus as he slowly moved through the ticket booth.
"I wonder why Thompson has that map." I said as I followed him.
"That still doesn't explain why we are down here...." Torres said as he stepped over broken glass.
"Well," Remus started, "The map had a secret stop that officials would get off at. They would move somewhere through train stop 10-33. Don't ask how I remembered that."
"How do you remember that?" Torres said in a sarcastic voice.
Remus stared at him.
All the sudden a earthquake went off the underground subway shook violently.
"Shit." Torres yelled as he grabbed onto a pipe.
"We haven't had a earthquake here in 10 years?" I said as I look at Remus.
"I don't know, we have to keep moving. If we pass up this way then... well I don't know!" he said as he smash his fist in the wall.
"Guys, we can't take the subway...." Torres yelled to us.
"Why...... not?" I paused to see a crashed subway train on fire.
"We have to crawl threw it, there's no other way." Remus said.
"Well, guess its a bad time to mention my fear of trains on fire...." Torres said as he looked at the burning cart.
We crawled threw, but as Torres was crawling out another earthquake shook the train cart.
"Oh shit!!" Torres yelled as a thin piece of pipe fell right beside his head.
"Hold on, why are all the earthquakes happening? I mean, like you said, there hasn't been one in 10 years." Said Remus as he pulled Torres out of the rubble.
"I don't know...." I said. "But either way, we have to find this secret tunnel or whatever..."
After walking for about 10 minutes we stopped.
"Here" Torres said as he pulled the pipe away from the wall.
We walked up the stairway into a lush forest.
"Wow, so majestic" said Remus.
"Sure it is" I said as I touched one of the trees.
"Ok, due north of here is the Terravina. The base is where all generals would meet in time of crisis." Said Torres as he began to walk.
"Ok, we should hurry." I said.
-15 minutes later-
We walked up on a courtyard leading to a 20 story building beside a cliff. The courtyard had a energy fence around the perimeter.
"Hm, well I guess we found the place" said Remus as he looked at the building.
"Nah this is just the hanger." Torres said sarcastically.
"Torres, how do we get in there?" I said as I put my rifle on my back.
"Well, the fences will fry anything that goes near it. The turrets hidden at the entrance will bursts hole in your armor. And the pelicans landing probably hold the most highly trained generals in the U.N.S.C., besides yours truly."
"Mmhmm, and that totally encourages us to walk in willy-nilly. Totally..." Remus said as he sat down.
"Is there a service hatch?" I said as I zoomed into the courtyard.
"There's two, one right there, in the pavilion, and one in the back."
"Ok, the back sounds like a good idea." Remus said with a sigh of relief.
"Haha, but that hatch is actually a vent that is on the cliffside." Torres said.
"It's the best way, we can make it. Torres do you think you can tell us where to go from here through radio?" I said as I pulled in my zoom.
"I will only be able to talk briefly,"
"Good enough, lets go Remus." I said as I ran off.
"Yeah, adventure!!" Remus said sarcastically.
