Chapter nine

We finished eating and Flo got up.
"Ok greenie! Let's start with...med jacks!" She started walking over to what must be where the 'med jacks' work. We walked up to the building and through the door. In this building there was a stair case, we walked up into a hallway with about 5 doors leading off the different rooms. I saw though the crack in the closed one what looked like a bed and a small chair, both unoccupied. Flo walked through the door and sat down on the bed.
"Take a seat ,greenie" she murmured. It didn't take a genius to tell that this place made her fell uncomfortable.
Suddenly a girl walked through the door, looking for something. Flo looked up.
"Sophia!!" Flo said smiling, So this was Sophia! Keeper of the med jacks! She had raven black hair and dark brown eyes.
"Flo" she smiled, her eyes fell on me, she backed against the wall, in compleat, utter shock.
"What the....I mean it's a-" Flo laughed.
"This" she placed her hand on my shoulder
"This is our latest newbie, Newt!"
The girl still looked shocked. Flo saw the still shocked look on Sophia's face.
"And no I have no clue why he's a boy!" Flo explained. This relaxed Sophia. Newt thought that Sophia probably hadn't been there when he came up in the box. This would explain why she was so shocked to see him.
"Anyway! Soph I was thinking greenie hear could try out being a shucking med jack for a day!"
"CORSE!" Sophia smiled. We all sat there in silence for a moment. Flo clapped her hands together.
"Ok, well I better leave you guys alone!" She smiled, brushed past me and whispered
"Good luck, greenie". She walked through the door and newt could hear her footsteps as she walked down the stairs. He suddenly missed her like crazy. Being alone with a girl he didn't know was disconcerting. He suddenly wished she would have stayed.
