AUTHORS NOTE:
So I was talking to my brother about how scared I was to write an action scene...cause I'm less of a action written more of a...I don't know what kind if writer I am but anyway....he was like "I can write it" so this chapter is co-written by my awesome brother, Dylan! Thank you!

I clasped on the floor. I was in the maze. I turned around and saw Thomas. He was through the other side. He was in the maze, with me. Then. They closed. We were trapped.
"WHY THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!?" I shouted
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!?" He shouted back.
"look..." He said, in a soft voice,
"That doesn't matter now we need survive the night, ok?"
"And find Flo"
"Sure"
Then. We heard it. A groaning. A deep groaning. I looked at Thomas. Fear.
"RUN!" I didn't know how long we ran for but at some point we slowed down and started walking.
We walked along the cold hard ground. Breathing and panting trying to look for any sign of Flo .
Click. Click. Click
Immediately fear crept through my body paralysing me. Somewhere in the mess of thoughts I remembered that sound. It was a sound I would grow to fear. I looked at Thomas. He was as still as a stone with a feverish look of terror plastered on his face.
And then I happened.

We didn't see the Griever coming at us until it was almost 1 metre away.
My reflexes suddenly snapped into action. I reached down to grabbed the nearest wepon I could find. A stick. And struck out at the mass of blubber and metal. But it was to late the thing had already grabbed Thomas and it was dragging him away. Fresh anger brought speed and strength to my next hit landing right in the mass of blubber they called its eye causing it to howl in pain and drop Thomas . It started to retreat . I ran to see if Thomas was alright . And the Griever jabbed out with its metal saw cutting my leg to the bone and bleeding like crazy .
I jabbed out for the final time and it backed of leaving a trail of slime.
I grabbed my leg in agony. I couldn't breath. The pain was so strong, too strong. I collapsed, yet again to the floor. And then... darkness yet again grabbed me.
