"I am so sorry. This is completely, all my fault" she said as she rushed over to the dishevelled man in front of her.
"Don't apologise. You have nothing to be sorry for, do you understand?" As she nodded and let her head fall slightly in regret.
Remus placed his thumb and index finger to her chin and pulled her face so that she was directly looking at him.
"You did the right thing. I can assure you, Dumbledore will explain his reasonings to your Father" he spoke gently, still holding her chin.
"He could have harmed you, that would've been my fault-"
"Don't you dare! You didn't do anything wrong Darling" he spoke with an admirable smile as he watched her eyes start to slowly well up.
"Hey, why are you upset?" He said becoming more concerned
"I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself if he had hurt you" as a singular tear fell
Remus instantly cupped her cheeks and sent her a warm smile. He moved his hand to gently swipe away the tears that had fallen as the other made its way into her soft hair.
The sensation of his fingers running delicately across her scalp soothed her instantly, as her eyes subconsciously shut to enhance her senses.
His touch was like a drug. She fit so perfectly against his body, as if they were made for each other.
"You are beautiful" the Wolf whispered before acknowledging he said that out loud
"S-sorry I sh-shouldn't have said that-" he said as he dropped his hands from her face. She quickly caught one and ran her thumb across his scarred ones.
"You are beautiful also" as she hesitantly caressed his checks, tracing the silver lines that covered his face. "Absolutely beautiful" she whispered in the same soft tone he had used.
It was now his turn to close his eyelids. He wanted to take in her touch as much as possible. She was something else... truly perfect.
They had somehow inched their way closer to each other. Now barely an inch away.
"There's something so special about you. Something that I can't pinpoint or be able to stay away from you. No matter how hard I try" Remus stated inhaling her sweet, vanilla aroma. Her scent. It was her.
"Then don't. Don't stay away" she answered simply
Both eyes trailed down to the same destined features. Slowly moving closer, Remus brought his hands to her cheeks and-
"There you are! Oh ermm, hello. I thought something had happened to you" Liv spoke slowly, clearly suspicious of how close the pair were
They instantly pulled away, clearing their throats at the awkward encounter. Clearly knowing what was just about to happen.
"Yes, well, we have nothing further to discuss Miss Snape. You may leave" Remus said, instantly wanting nothing more than to be near her. This was his job though.
He had waited months to be in such a stable environment, financially, which would be thrown away the very second something further occurred. He hated that.
