It was now the day before Halloween. April had been recovering from the tragic accident ever since. She was still in some minor pain - but nothing to be concerned over. Snape, however, had been nagging her every chance he could get, asking how she was or if she needed any other potions to help ease her discomfort. To which she always insisted on.
The school was now decorated in an orange tone as pumpkins and fake cobwebs lined the perimeter of the walls. The Great Hall was bustling with excitable students, as well as the Ghosts. They always loved this certain festivity.
"April, can't you just convince the old bat to cancel our detention" asked Fred
"Nope! No can do, yous were the ones to get yourselves into that mess. Yous can get yourselves out" She said with a smug grin whilst taking a bite into her breakfast.
"The way I remember it, yous never even bothered to include me in the little fiasco anyway""Come onnn, that was Liv's idea" George said
"You know we would have included you" Fred finished, clearly trying to sweet talk their way out of the situation."Erm excuse me. If I remember clearly, you two weren't bothered about the repercussions when you were tossing cauldron cakes at Malfoy" the blonde interrupted as the two boys just high fived each other, both wearing a large grin.
"It was rather brilliant" exclaimed George
"Yep. Did you see Snape's face-""20 points from Gryffindor Mr Weasley" announce the dark looming figure behind them.
"Err which one Professor?" asked Fred rather innocently
"Both" he simply stated as the duo groaned and slumped in their seats. "Keep up the dramatics and you'll both be serving another nights worth of detention" as he swiftly turned on his heel, not before sending his daughter a firm nod in acknowledgment.
"I know he's your Dad but he's a right foul git" exclaimed Liv
"Liv stop it! And you two stop encouraging her" April stated as she firmly pointed to the twins. "Yous don't know him the way I do"
"Yeah, thankfully" Fred scoffed which earned him a blow to the arm off the brunette. "Owww Merlin, relax I'm joking" he chuckled at her annoyed gaze.
"How about we have a party tonight?" Asked April as the other three's ears instantly perked up with excitement.
"We're in" immediately said the twins
"Yeah, me too. We should be finished detention with Snape around 8, how about after that?" Liv said, already dreaming about her first sip of Firewhiskey.
"Brilliant, I'll see yous three then" April said as she started to stand
"Where the hell are you going?" Asked George
"To see a certain dog?" Whispered Liv for only April to hear, which caused her to fall into a fit of giggles after seeing her friend's disapproving face.
"Ermm, library. See yous tonight"
She simply announced as she made her way out. Little did her friends know, she was going to visit a dog. Just not her boyfriend..."Sirius?" April said once making her way into the Shrieking Shack.
"Up here Pup!"
The witch made her way up the stairs to where she had heard the familiar voice. "Hey, I've brought you some food. It's not a lot but-"
"Trust me, anything will be better than what I've been eating lately. Thank you, I hope you don't mind doing this" kindly stated Sirius as he started engulfing an entire piece of bacon in one gulp.
