Viv and Lisa hadn't seen each other in 2.5 months as Viv was at the Olympics and before that they had friendlies and due to injury, Lisa couldn't go and support Viv.

After the Olympics, Viv went to the Netherlands to see family before going to London. She thought that she was going to see Lisa for a few days as Lisa was going to be up in Scotland for some national team media stuff. However, Lisa managed to get all the media stuff completed early and got back to London a day before Viv. She kept it quiet that she was back in London early to Viv as she sounded so sad on the phone.

The next morning, Lisa drove to the airport and brought some flowers for Viv. She was so excited to see Viv as they hadn't seen each other in a few months and they had really missed each other.

Lisa got the flowers and found the arrivals gate and waited for Viv. She saw when it had arrived and knew that Viv had  to wait for some bags so she would be a little while. There hadn't been many other arrivals before the flight from Amsterdam so when Lisa saw people coming into the main terminal she knew that it was Viv's flight and that she wouldn't be long. Lisa had been texting Viv acting as if she was in Scotland and Viv was saying that she had just got her bags so had to go so Lisa was looking out for Viv.

Lisa immediately saw Viv come through the gate and the couple locked eyes and Viv had a massive smile on her face when she saw Lisa. They got to each other and Lisa noticed that Viv had a tear running down her cheek and rub it off with her hand. They embraced each other with a hug and Viv couldn't believe that Lisa was there in her arms.

Lisa leaned back out of the hug and stood up on her toes to kiss Viv. After the kiss, Viv brought Lisa into another hug and they stood there for a couple minutes just enjoying each other's company.

As they pulled out of the hug Lisa gave Viv her flowers and then took her bags as they walked to the car, happy to be together again.
