8 Months

It had been 8 months. 8 months since they broke up after 5 years together. The couple broke up and then Lisa went to play in Spain so they hadn't seen each other since the break up. It ended because Viv thought Lisa had been cheating but it was all a big understanding. Lisa had wanted to propose and was planning a surprise but Viv thought that Lisa was cheating and broke it up. But she realised the truth too late and Lisa was already playing in Spain for Barcelona. They both missed each other and Viv knew she had made a mistake but she believed that she couldn't do anything.

After not seeing for each other for 8 months they were finally going to see each other Lisa was playing for Team GB against the Dutch in a practice game before the Olympics at Wembley. When Lisa got to London she went straight into the training camp so didn't have any free time to meet up with anyone before the camp or match. This meant the first time that Viv and Lisa saw each other was in the tunnel before the game. They were standing in the tunnel next to each other - both at the end of the lines. The tunnel was quite narrow so Viv and Lisa ended up standing close too each other. Viv moved her so it was touching Lisa's. Lisa then took Viv's hand and squeezed briefly but the two never looked at each other and kept theirs eyes forward. They went out and played the match and then as they were shaking hands Viv mentioned to Lisa to go back to hers after the game.

After the teams finished getting dressed after the game Lisa went to Viv's place. The place she used to live with Viv when they were still together. Lisa went up to the front door but was too nervous to knock. After a few minutes she gained the courage to knock on the door and Viv opened. Viv just cuddled Lisa almost suffocating her. Lisa hugged Viv back. As they were standing there, Lisa felt Viv's tears on shoulder. She pulled out of the hug and gave her a kiss. She knew that Viv missed her and had made a mistake. Lisa could see in matches that Viv was not at her best and she was always one of the first people to like her photos on Instagram. They went inside to talk about everything and going foreword. Lisa noticed that the place hadn't changed except for all of Viv's awards not being on the shelves. The only award on the shelf was an award Lisa got from the national team which she didn't take with her to Spain and a few photos of Lisa and Viv. They ended up chatting about their relationship and decided to take it slow. Lisa didn't have much longer of the Spanish season and then it was the Olympics so she was going to try and come back to an English team for the next season.

After the Olympics finished Lisa ended up at West Ham while Viv was still at Arsenal. They got their relationship slowly back up and running.
