Never Going to Happen

Viv and Lisa's relationship was quite public and they didn't shy away from questions but they also kept some things to themselves. Both were quite quiet on social media apart from We Play Strong and they just got on with their relationship like any normal couple. Viv sometimes got some people flirting with her when they were out with the team but Lisa didn't really mind as Viv never noticed and it was only a little every so often.

However it did get on Lisa's nerves once when the team had a night out in post season. She knew that they didn't have a chance with Viv as Viv could never tell what was flirting or not. It just annoyed Lisa as it was happening right in front of her like the girl didn't even see her. This girl had introduced herself to Viv as Lucy earlier in the night but did not even acknowledge Lisa even though the couple had been holding hands and kissed each other multiple times earlier in the night.

Lisa had been dancing with some of her teammates when she saw this Lucy talking to Viv.  Viv had been at the table chatting to Kim for a lot of the night as they aren't big dancers. It looked like Kim had gone to the toilet and Lucy had started chatting to her then. Lucy was touching Viv's arm and getting close to her and Viv didn't seem that interested in her, she just kept drinking and keeping her answers short. Lisa went over to Viv and decided to sit on her girlfriends lap with her hand around her waist. As soon as Lisa came over to the table, Viv's face lit up and this Lucy started getting defensive towards Lisa. Viv had very clearly said to Lucy throughout the night that she was dating Lisa but clearly that had gone in one ear and out the other for Lucy. Lucy was saying to Lisa that she couldn't just come and take away her chance at something with Viv but Viv just said that there was never going to be anything between them and gave Lisa a kiss. They then went up to the bar holding hands to get some more drinks for the night.
