Airport Nap

Both Lisa and Viv were on national team duty during the Euro qualifying. They both had 3 games and weren't going to see each other for around a month. Viv left a week before Lisa and arrived back in London a week earlier than Lisa.

They were starting to miss each other after 2 weeks apart. But the couple were in luck as both teams ended up in the same airport before heading onto different cities. This meant that they got a couple hours together in the airport. The two teams ended up sitting near each other while waiting for their flights. The players were allowed to have a walk around the airport so Viv and Lisa had a walk round the different shops while hand in hand. They didn't walk for long as both were tired after having long days.

They then went and sat back down but just as they got back they were told that both their flights had been delayed for another few hours. This added to their already long days. So they sat down next to each other and Lisa felt Viv rest her head on her shoulder. Viv quickly fell asleep with Lisa doing the same not long after.

After a while they were woken up by teammates who found it cute that they had fallen asleep. Viv woke up from the best sleep since leaving for qualifiers. She hated sleeping alone but even if she was sleeping on uncomfortable airport chairs, sleeping with Lisa was better than sleeping alone. Their teammates texted them the photos of them asleep in their respective national team tracksuits - Viv in orange and Lisa in blue.

They said there goodbyes and had big hug before they had to go. While on the flight both Lisa and Viv decided to change their backgrounds on their phones to the ones their teammates took of them sleeping in the airport - it was the most attractive photo of either of them but it reminded them of a short time that they were together when they weren't expected to be together.
