Moments Like This

Lisa woke up with Viv's warm body partially on top of her and Viv's lanky arms wrapped around her waist. Lisa likes waking up like this and having a quiet moment with Viv. Both sets of parents were staying at theirs for the week and even though they enjoyed the time that they got with their parents as they don't see them often, moments like this were appreciated. Lisa lay in her bed, half asleep with Viv still asleep, she wondered how lucky she had got. She heard everyone else moving around downstairs. They weren't loud but just enough to be able to hear that there was a conversation going between both sets of parents. Viv started to wake up, clinging on Lisa even more. She had her head on Lisa's chest, their legs intertwined and her arm around her waist. Lisa was slowly guiding her hand through her hair and Viv loved it when she did this. Viv would always say to Lisa that if she continued to stroke her hair and cheek she wouldn't get up. She also likes listening to Lisa's heartbeat and her chest slowly moving up and down with every breath. It gave her another reason why she didn't have to get out of bed in the morning.

Lisa suggested that they should get ready, considering that their parents were ready and probably waiting for them. They were all going out into London for the day, going to all the tourist areas and spending the time together. Viv and Lisa didn't get to spend much time with their parents so it was nice to have them in London. However, Viv didn't want to get out of bed, she was enjoying her time with Lisa. And truth be told, so was Lisa. Most days they have training or matches or at least one of them is at a national team training camp, so moments like this were rare.

They decided that they were going to stay in this comfy position enjoying each other's company, even if it was only for a few minutes, before getting ready to go out for brunch with their parents as they were starting to get hungry.

Both enjoyed the time together that morning, just enjoying waking up in each other's arms.
