Noah and I ran around the gigantic boat screeching, and giggling like children as we road our drunkenness through. We were playing a game of hide and seek as if we were six again. It was my time to seek him out. I searched for what seemed like an eternity, and I couldn't find this man. I ran around , with my blurred vision determined to find him. After a few more minutes, I gave up. He was way too good at this childish game.
"Alright, Noah. I give up. No clue where to look anymore. You win. You winnnnn." I whine, walking through the halls of the ship. I was trying to keep quiet, as it was now around four am and I didn't want to disturb the sleeping passengers. I got no answer from him in return. "Noah. Please come out now." I whisper as I giggle to myself. All of a sudden, I'm yanked into one of the rooms by a strong hand. I begin to panic until I turn to see Noah's familiar face. I breathed a sigh of relief as he shut the room door behind us. I looked around the room to see no sign that it was occupied by any passengers.
"Vacant room?" I ask. "Yeah, I stumbled upon it while trying to hide. It was cracked open so I peeked in, and saw that it belonged to no one." He says smiling over at me.
"We could get in trouble if someone finds us in here." I say raising my eyebrows. He laughs. "You're illegally drunk, and that's what you're worried about. " he says stepping deeper into the room. I roll my eyes playfully. "First off, I blame Ryan." I say causing us both to laugh loudly. I signal for us to lower our tones. Sleeping passengers.Noah takes a seat on the spacious bed. I stand awkwardly still near the door. He pats the bed next to him, indicating for me to join him. I immediately follow suit, liquid courage still controlling my thoughts. I sit next to him staring in front of me. I feel his eyes burning into the side of my face. I turn to face him. The expression on his face sent chills through my spine. This is is most intense expression I've ever seen his gorgeous features create. His eyes. So dark. "What's on your mind?" I ask quietly. He takes a breath before scooting closer to me on the bed. His hand raises to stroke my face. His eyes never leave my lips. "I....", he starts, but doesn't continue before he crashes his lips into mine. My hand instantly finds its way to the back of his hair and entangles itself there. Kissing sounds are the only sounds heard in the pitch quiet room.
The atmosphere feels like flames as the kiss deepens. His hands placed around my hips. I rise to straddle him.
Boys like him, they're dangerous. They make girls lose all control of their own bodies by just looking at them.
He lies back on the bed as I continue to eat his face off. His hands slide down my lower back. Right before they get to where I want them, he pulls away from the kiss. We both gasp as he stares up into my hungry eyes. I tilt my head at him, trying to read his expression."I really like you. I think we should stop here. I- I don't wanna sleep with you. I mean I do- just not yet. You're different." He stammers, as he still tries to catch his breath. I stare down at him, nearly panting. I quickly climb off of him, and sit in my original seat on the bed. He sits up, and straightens out his shirt.
"How do you know I'm different? We just met." I question, genuinely curious. He turns to face me.
"I can sense it. I just know. I'm aware that we just met, but I just- I just feel it. In your vibe. In your eyes. The way you look at me. The way you smile. The way you're just... yourself. You're different from the girls I know." He spills out, sincerity in his voice. "I like to spend time with you. I don't wanna rush into things, and risk destroying our bond. " he continues. From this, I know he actually likes me. I know he actually has plans to continue this thing- whatever you wanna call it that we've built so far. All I can do is smile. I'm not as good with words as he is.
"Thank you. I actually feel cared for by you. I just want you to know, I feel the same way you do. I have no plans to lose contact with you after this cruise is over." I say still smiling at him. He smiles back and embraces me in a long, tight hug. Even his hugs send electricity through me.We spent the rest of the night lying near each other on the bed. We talked in depth about our lives back at home. We spoke about childhood, our dreams, past relationships, fears. You name it. I didn't understand how I could feel as comfortable with someone who is practically a stranger as I did. I felt like I almost....trusted him.
The obnoxious sound of people in the halls woke me up. I have my eyes half opened due to the beaming sunlight through the curtains. My head is slamming— SUNLIGHT!? SHIT. My body jolts up.
"Noah, It's mornin'!" I shout as I vigorously shake his arm that he had draped around my waist He immediately sits up as his eyes bulge from his head.
"Oh shit...." he mumbled. Our parents are gonna be pissed.
