Tonight has been one dreadful, never ending night. My three friends, and I are just cruising around in the car. Me in the passenger seat. We've been listening to some new album on loop as if the songs were going to just magically morph into something we actually care for. I roll my eyes. "Y'all let's do something fucking crazy." I exclaim. They all sit up in their seats. "Like?" Bella questions, as she takes her eyes from the road to glance at me. I shrug. "Wellllll... feel free to say no, but I say let's go to a party." They all sigh in unison. "How is that crazy?" Gigi asks me. "We go to parties all the time." Lele chimes in. I nod my head. "Uh huh. Yeah we do. But never in another dimension. I heard there's one tonight. " I say, devious smirk across my face. They all look at me like I've gone cross eyed. "How the Hell we gone do that?" Bella asks. I bite my bottom lip before speaking. "I have my ways."

The girls didn't believe me until I showed them. We grew up hearing about the dangerous stories of people jumping dimensions. I was once as skeptical as the girls are until I taught myself how to skip through portals on my own.

"What!??" The girls yell at once. I'm afraid of flies flying into their mouths. I smirk. "Told y'all." I say as we take in our new surroundings. We've arrived at a fancy condo neighborhood. "Follow me. I hear the music this way!" I screech, dragging them along.

Once inside, we see an uproarious crowd of people dancing around. We join right in as the drinks start flowing. Eventually, we all sit down in a circle to participate in some party games.

There's a guy here. I have to confess, I'm very attracted to him. He's average height, has a few tattoos on his forearms, mysterious eyes, and he's wearing an all black outfit. Black t- shirt, black cargo pants, and black boots. He sat next to me a while ago, and we've been flirting ever since. Just as he's about to ask me something, we all hear deafening banging on the front door. The music is immediately cut off. Whispers of concern are heard all over the condo as the owner goes to open the door. It's the police. We all rush to stand in a panic. Five police officers step inside the door. The girls, and I are screwed.

"If you're not from this dimension , you have two minutes to get back to where you came from. If not, you'll be detained, stuck here in one of our jails and who knows when you'll be set free. Last guy sat in a cell for months just cuz that's what we felt like." One police speaks up, viciousness laced in his voice as his cold eyes scan the perimeter. Either someone snitched, or they're here just hoping to catch people like us.

My eyes flicker around the room to find each of my friends. We're already making our way towards one another. I give them an apologetic smile. This is my fault after all.

We reluctantly say our goodbyes to everyone. The guy I spent half the night speaking with pulls me to the side and whispers. "You'll come back right ?" He asks with hopeful eyes. I shrug my shoulders. "Later...I'll try again later." I answer honestly. He watches as my friends and I exit the house. The cops are taunting us on the way out. "You guys don't even look good enough to be from this dimension." One says, as they all chuckle. I give them the middle finger. We hurriedly leave the scene and, zoom back to our own dimension.

"THAT WAS INSANE!" Bella screams once we finally returned back home. She has the biggest grin on her face. Gigi, and Lele agree with her as they all fall to the floor of my living room laughing. I look at them with furrowed brows. "Y'all aren't mad at me?!?" I question. Gigi looks over at me. "Mad? Hell no. That was the most exciting party I've ever been to." She exclaims. "And... AND THE GUYS WERE CUTE." Lele adds. I nod my head. "Told y'all." I say smirking.

We eventually go back a few nights later. Luckily, the cops haven't make an appearance. But my crush did.

Author's Note: Hey yall. I know it's been a while. I recently moved from Baytown (Originally Houston) to Austin. I've been adjusting over the last few months. It hasn't been the easiest. I moved here with a girl group that I joined. Craziest thing I've ever done in my life. I only knew these girls for three months before we all got our own place together. I met up with two of them not even a month after meeting them through Instagram. The other girl, I only met over Skype. I met her for the first time when she moved down here with us. We all came from different places. I was only here for a month before I left the group. The music we did, covers, photo shoots etc was fun, but it never felt authentic because we were clashing. Outside of that, things were fun.

I had serious hopes with this girl group otherwise I wouldn't have moved here. This was the SIXTH girl group I've ever been in. (Third one that seriously counts) SIXTH! They never worked out. I'm never going to stay in a situation where I feel taken for granted, when others are trying to turn me into something I'm not, songs are being made that don't feel authentic, or when I know I'm better off alone. I'll leave every time. So that's what I had to do. It was not easy. I care about that group, but I know who I am, I know my capabilities, I know what I'm after, and I know my worth. I wish everyone the best of luck. I love to see everyone flourishing.

I have no hard feelings towards anyone that I've ever been in a girl group with over the last few years. I hold fond memories, but at the end of the day, walk away when you know it doesn't feel right.

On another note, this chapter is short lol. The dream was honestly short. I have an idea about continuing this dream into a short book where my crush and I battle through the difficulties of being from different dimensions to be together etc etc. lemme know if that sounds like something I should do. Sounds fun. Sorry if this chapter felt rushed!
