Noah, and I lean against the wall, hearts slamming into our rib cages as we await what's to come. His parents steady making their way towards us. We watch with worried eyes.

Suddenly, his dad speaks up. "Let's go check the bars. They wouldn't be roaming through the boring hallways." He says, as him and his wife cut a corner. They didn't see us. How?! I look up at Noah with wild eyes. His expression says what's he's thinking. How the hell did they not see us??

"How did-" I start, but Noah cuts me off. "Let's move before someone comes back." He speaks quickly, dragging me through another long hallway.

I honestly don't know what's going to happen when I have to face my parents again. Whether they find me tonight, or I go back to the room in the morning, they're going to tear into me like never before. I've disobeyed them. Willingly. They're never going to trust me again. I really hope this doesn't screw up my relationship with them for good. Should I have just gone back to my room before midnight, or was this worth it?

We make it to a portion of the boat where there's a resting area. We sit down on a bench to steady our breathing. We stare out into the dark night sea. So chilling, yet so beautiful. I look over at Noah who's already placed his eyes on me. He looks deep in thought. He looks....worried. He leans over and kisses my lips.
"That might be my last opportunity to do that before my parents kill me." He says, a low chuckle in his throat. I smile in return.
"This night has been extremely dramatic. It feels like a bad movie plot." I say cackling.
"Can we fast forward through the part where our parents finally catch us." He replies, sighing. I wish, Noah. I wish.
The longer we sit here, the more it feels like we've given up the chase. Like we're surrendering. I won't give up so easily. I grab Noah's hand as we continue on walking.

We come across the bar that Noah became Ryan. As we walk by, we see the bartender that served us that night having a cigarette outside. His eyes scan over to us before calling out to Noah.
"Hey, Ryan? Come here for a sec will ya?" He says. Noah walks up to the man, confusion on his face. "Yeah, what's up?" Noah asks him.
"You're 25, right?" He questions Noah. Noah nods his head. "Yeah, why-" he gets cuts off.
"Cut the shit man. You've been exposed. I know you're only nineteen.... Noah." He replies, emphasis on Noah's name. Noah tilts his head as he waits for the man to continue. "Your parents stopped by. Showed me a photo of you in hopes that I had seen you and your girlfriend tonight."he said nodding over at me. Girlfriend? Maybe??
Noah's eyes widen.
"How long ago was that man?" He asks the smoke blowing man.
"Ten or so minutes ago. They headed that way. Look, they were heated. I don't know what you did kid, but good luck. You're gonna need it." He says flicking the cigarette, and walking off.
"Oh, and you could've gotten me fired kid. Don't try it again." He says, finally leaving. Noah spins to face me. "Apparently, you're my girlfriend." He says smirking down at me. I blush, and shift on the balls of my feet. "Yeah...how bout that?", I say, wrapping my arms around Noah's waist as I stare up into his eyes.

We push on forward with the the run. I feel like Bonnie, and Clyde. We've been treading, and ducking behind walls every time we've accidentally mistaken a stranger for our parents. In total stealth mode.

Does it have to be this way? Are we crazy for not just....revealing ourselves? What's bound to happen once I make contact with my parents again? Will they abruptly end our cruise trip vacation, drag me all the way back home, and rip me away from this man that I adore? Will I have to force my dad off of Noah? Will he be angry enough to result to violence? I don't want to find out. Maybe I'm being dramatic.

What about Noah? As I glance over at this tall man jogging beside me, I can't help but ponder over what's going to happen to him once he sees his parents again. They're going to tear this place completely apart. Are they going to come after me too? Are they going to attack me with racist insults? Will Noah....defend me? After all, we are still practically strangers. How far will he go to protect me, to protect us?
