The blue eyed boy finally turns around to face me after those guys leave. It's like my body can't move, I'm frozen in shock. Everything my parents and Colton said to me replays in my mind. I should have just stayed in Michigan.

A couple tears fall down my cheeks, I turn away hoping he didn't see that.

"They didn't like... touch you, did they?" He asks, never once taking his eyes off of me.

"You mean like... no. They didn't." I answer, shaking my head.

"Not yet at least." I mumble.

He nods in relief, before scanning my face again. I then notice his gun is gone. He must've noticed how freaked out I got. But it wasn't more than how grateful I felt for it.

"How did you get here?" He asks, finally looking around.

"I walked here from campus.." I say quietly.

"What campus?" He says slightly annoyed.

"NYU..." I responded.

"You walked in that? In the storm for 20 minutes?" He asks, pointing at my outfit.

"When I was walking there was no storm.. What's wrong with my outfit?" I ask furrowing my brows.

He just straight up looks at me, as if I'm supposed to read his mind

"You think my outfit caused those guys to..?" I say, blankly.

If he says what I think he's gonna say nothing could restore my faith in the male species.

"What? No. Obviously not. It's just not something a sane human being would wear in the middle of a storm." He says, defensively.

While he stares at me I can't help but stare back.

This man is gorgeous. Everything about him is so damn perfect.

He looks very very tall. Like I have to look up to talk to him tall.

He's wearing a half sleeved t-shirt. He has a lot of tattoos. Some on his fingers and some that go from his neck to probably his chest.

He's actually so fine. I cannot stop staring at his arms. Get a grip on yourself Amber.

Thunder roars outside as we both snap back into reality. I run my fingers through my hair awkwardly as he just looks around.

"I'll drop you back, come on," he says, sighing.
