[authors note: I'm in a MAJOR bo phase right now, I mean I'm always in a bo phase but even more so than usual!]

You pushed open the door to the bar your friend worked at, it had been a rather hard week and you needed to take the edge off.

"Hey y/n! Here again?"

"Hey tetsurou... uh yeah, he took his things today so I need to get my mind off of shit."

"Shit... I'm sorry, what can I get you?"

"Surprise me, just make it strong."

Your boyfriend for the last two years has been oikawa toru, like any relationship it had it's rough spots, but it had still always been pretty great. That is until a bit over a month ago.

It seemed like a great idea to surprise your boyfriend at one of his matches, although when you went to meet him after your game you were met with the sight of oikawa kissing another girl.

"Toru... what the fuck?"

Toru jumped slightly at the sound of your voice, Turning to look at you with wide eyes.

"Y-y/n.. I promise I can explain..."

"Alright, do you want to explain before or after I break up with you?"

Tears pricked from your eyes but you kept your voice as steady as possible.

"I-I promise it's really not what it seems like, s-she's just one of my fangirls, nothing more!"

At this point the girl decided to interrupt

"Lying asshole... y/n? Was it? I'm really sorry I had no idea he was dating someone! But he's lying to you, this has been going on for a while."

"Yeah I figured... toru is a shitty liar, and you don't need to apologize, you aren't the cheating douche."

The girl awkwardly walked off, unsure what else she could do, leaving you and toru to settle things.

You were knocked out of your memory when tetsurou placed a glass of whisky in front of you.

"So... he took his things today, how did that go?"

"It was pretty awkward... he seemed sad though, that kinda helped."

Kuroo snickered slightly
"Well if it helps... I hope he goes through hell and back trying to get over you"

You let out a soft laugh, shooting back the whisky.
"Thanks tetsu, can I get another?"

"You got it"

After handing you another glass, the two of you continued talking.

"Should I move houses? I mean I've lived with him for a year, now that he and all of his things are gone it feels a lot more... lifeless."

"Maybe you just... put someone new in the house?" kuroo said with a smirk

"And who exactly would that be?"

"Who knows? Pick up a stranger and have some fun, I bet you won't feel alone~"

You rolled your eyes at the implication, it wasn't that you were against the idea, but it had only been a month since you found out toru was cheating, that was a bit early to go hooking up with strangers right?

You took a deep sigh and a sip from your whisky, watching as kuroo greeted another customer, seemingly one that he knew. You didn't pay much mind as the man sat down a few seats to your right.
