"Big sister! Hurry up!!" Your little sisters voice rung through the hallway. You had agreed to take chiyo to her friends house today and you were already regretting it... kids have too much energy. You've been quite the introvert for most of your life. It wasn't like you hated going out and meeting new people or anything! It was just... tiring.
'It's like she's never run out of energy before... how?!'
"I'm coming chiyo, Calm down."
"Sorry n/n! I'm just exited, I haven't seen natsu in so long!"
"Didn't you see her in school yesterday?"
"Well... yeah. But that doesn't count!"
You let out a soft chuckle "alright let's go."

Chiyo swiftly jumped up and ran out the door. Fully prepared to leave you behind.
"Hey! Wait for me!"

From what you've heard natsu is a really sweet girl. Chiyo met her in school recently and they really hit it off! Since then they've been having play dates all the time. Although today was a bit different, your parents were going to be busy with work for the next few weeks due to some merger with another company. Leaving you to act as chiyos mother for a while... you didn't mind any of the household things, cooking and cleaning we're fun and honestly quite relaxing. Although you definitely didn't want to chaperone all the play dates.

You and chiyo arrived at the front gate for the address your mother had given you.
You rung the doorbell, almost immediately hearing rapid footsteps approach the door.
The front door swung open to reveal a boy with tangerine hair and a heartwarming smile. 'Holy woah... he's so cute!!'
"H-hello. I'm chiyos sister, Y/n L/n."
"Hi!" The boy replied "I'm shoyo hinata! Natsu's brother!"
You politely bowed to the boy. Walking inside the house.
Chiyo didn't hesitate in running off to another room with natsu. Leaving you to talk with a stranger... lovely.

"Uh, so... Hinata,"
"Shoyo is fine! Both of us have siblings here so it seems easier, if you're ok with that!"
"Oh of course, shoyo, what school do you go to?" You asked. hoping you could start a decent conversation and avoid the awkward silence.
"Karasuno high school! You?" He replied.
"Oh me too!"
"Really?!" He asked excitedly. "You should come to my volleyball practice sometime! Not to brag but I'm like the coolest on the team!"  His eyes lit up when he spoke, with a passion you wish you could carry for something.
"I'd love to! When do you guys practice?"
"Every day after school! You should come by on monday!"
"Sounds good to me, shoyo."

The two of you actually managed to hold a conversation quite well, and you had a lot in common! You told him about how you played volleyball in middle school, although switched clubs since nobody else joined. And he told you all about his first and last game in middle school. And the amazing team he has now. There was this fire in his eyes when he talked about volleyball... it burned with a blinding brightness. His name really is perfectly suited to him. This boy was the embodiment of the sun.
You ended up staying at shoyos for longer than planned, the two of you tossed a volleyball back and fourth for a while. Until Mrs. Hinata got back home.

"Ah! You must be Chiyos sister, y/n. You can call me Asuka!" She chimed.
"N-nice to meet you ma'am!"
Asuka was a lovely woman, she even offered for you and chiyo to stay for dinner. Although you politely declined since you'd already prepared dinner for tonight. You and your sister headed home after a short chat with the Hinata family, and of course exchanging numbers with shoyo. And you couldn't help but be a bit confused about something.
'Normally when I spend so much time talking to someone I end up completely exhausted... but I feel fine. In fact, I can't wait to talk to shoyo more!'
