[Tendou's POV]

I would truly give anything, I would sell my soul if need be, to have you here with me again. Even if just for one day, you could yell at me, scream until your throat hurts, until your eyes are red and teary and your voice refuses to come out.

I would still love and appreciate every second of it. I would treasure it, I would cherish it, until the moment you left my grasp once again.

so tell me, what do I have to do to bring you back? Must I join you in the afterlife? You'd be angry if I did, wouldn't you? You'd probably hate me for it. But I would prefer your hate to your absence a thousand times over.

I spent so many Christmas's alone, my family never cared much to include me and my friends had plans with their family's. Every year I would flip through the old pictures, pictures of a time before things got so lonely...
Then you came into my life, a beam of light through my darkness. A light so bright my eyes burnt, maybe that's why the sight of your smile made me so happy I could cry...

Tell me, wherever you are, do you still get to do your favorite things for Christmas?
Do you still refuse to put up your tree until last minute?
Do you still bake gingerbread woodland creature cookies?
Do you still dance around the house listening to Christmas songs?

That light you brought into my life, it made me so happy... it made me feel like I'd stayed alive for a reason.
Remember the day we met? It was Christmas Eve of 2014, I was sat in the stairs in front of my apartment complex and you walked by me. Suddenly you stopped and turned to look at me.

"Aren't you cold" you asked, I remember even back then finding a comfort in your voice.
I didn't bother forcing a silly excitement with you, you were a stranger, I had no reason to make sure you wouldn't worry for me.
"This might sound odd, but it's much colder inside right now..."
It was right after I had come out to my family as bisexual, they told me I was nothing but a worthless disappointment, that I needed to leave... I packed a bag but I couldn't bring myself to leave, instead I sat on the stair case and reminisced the most awful memories.

"You do know it's snowing right, your house must have excellent air conditioning!" You giggled, I wanted to laugh, I really did. Though the most I could manage was a weak smile. It wasn't until I got a good look at your face that I realized something was wrong, you looked so worried. Suddenly I could feel it, the cold air making the tears on my cheeks feel icy. 'Right, I was crying...' that's all I could think.

You stopped in thought for a few moments "stay right here okay? Promise me."
I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's not like I had any better plans. "Alright."
God, my voice sounded so weak...
After that you scampered off, turning a corner at the nearest street. I hadn't a clue what to wait for, though after 10 minutes you returned, carrying a blanket and two cups.

"My place is right around the corner, I made us some cocoa!" You beamed, handing me a cup and setting the other down for a moment. You wrapped the blanket around me then took your seat next to me. Happily sipping from your drink.

In all honesty, drinking from something a stranger gives you Is a stupid choice, though at the time I didn't care much if I died...

"So, tell me what happened." You gave me a soft smile. Your words were so compelling, I'd never so badly wanted to tell a person my whole life story.
Though before telling you anything, I had my own question.
"Isn't that an odd thing to ask a stranger?"
You gave a soft giggle "maybe so, but when I'm having a hard time I never want to rant to a friend, it's just too stressful for me. So I figured ranting to someone you'll never see again wouldn't be quite as stressful!"
