"Thank you all for joining me. I have called you all here to discuss a peace treaty sent by the King. Now before any opinions, please go through this letter and then I will hear what you all have to say." She announced as she looked at her comrades. All the important officials were present which consisted of the Beta, Delta, Zeta, Head Hunter and the Omegas. The piece of parchment was passed around the table with each member reading through it carefully.

"I do not agree with it." One of Omegas Daniel said, shaking his head.

Zeta scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Zeta, what do you think about this peace treaty?" Serephina asked, looking at him.

"I do not agree with it."

"So basically same opinion as Daniel?"

He hesitated, clenching his jaw. "Yes." He admitted in a low voice.

"I think we should give it a try.  We can view our friendship as an asset." Delta Adelaide pointed.

"Friendship? Being friends with vampires is against nature itself." Zeta stated angrily.

"Do not throw that umbrella line everywhere. Everybody said that a female Alpha was against nature and look at our Alpha. She is better than other Alphas and lives up to her name." Beta Caleb explained, in a crisp voice. That made Zeta shut up.

"Now, let us not fight. We will take a vote. Those in favor of the treaty, please raise your hands." Alpha, Beta, Delta and an Omega Lillian raised their hands. "So majority of us vote for the letter, hence we will accept the letter."

Serephina lifted her pen and started writing a letter addressed to the King. After she finished the letter, she asked her messenger to deliver it to the King's castle. She sat back in her chair, remembering the feeling she got when she saw the King's face.

She had recognized him immediately. Her memory was flawless so she knew he was the one to save her life all those years ago. But her heart raced a mile a minute and her mouth had suddenly gone dry. Her palms were sweaty and pictures flashed in front of her eyes. In one picture they were holding hands, the other picture they were running through the woods, laughing loudly. The most memorable one was them looking at each other, smiling secretly as if they had exchanged an inside joke.

But what bothered her was when she heard herself saying "I do", on the altar wearing a gorgeous red dress and kissing him. The only common thing between werewolves and vampires was the wedding rituals and customs. Other than that everything was different. They had different colors for the dead, victories, sorcery and war.

"You have a mate right?" She suddenly asked Caleb.

Caleb looked surprised and taken aback. "Yes I do. Why?"

"Did you imprint on her or she did?"

"If your mate is a werewolf, both of you imprint on each other. If your mate is a human or a vampire, the imprint is only one-sided." Caleb explained.

She nodded thoughtfully. "Is it possible to imprint on someone at a first glance?"

"Yes, it is very much possible. Most mates do not know each other before imprinting. So its perfectly fine for you to imprint on a stranger just by seeing them for the first time."

"I never said I imprinted on someone."

"Then why are you curious?"

She hesitated. "I find it intriguing how you can spend your whole life with just one person. I don't think I can."

Caleb chuckled. "Everybody does until you find your mate. Even for the players, they find it hard to cheat on their partners and if they do, they are heavily punished by the Goddess Selene."

"Has it ever happened before?"

"Only once but it was in Africa. The wolf who cheated was banished from the pack and the victim found another mate for him."

She nodded her head in wonder. "Anyway, I have already sent a letter to the King informing that we have accepted the peace treaty and asked him to come down here for the signatures two days from now. I'm yet to receive the response."

"Alright, sounds good. Um, I actually wanted to ask you something." He asked nervously, scratching the back of his neck.

"Ask away."

"Beatrice and I were planning on getting married on the full moon next month. If you do not have a problem, will you be willing to officiate our wedding?"

She was taken aback. "You want me to officiate the wedding?"

"If you are willing."

""Yes, I will happily oblige. Did you prepare the guest list? The location?"

"We thought of deciding after your reply. We'll get started on it right away."

"About the guest list, do you think it will be possible for you to add a few vampires since we are now allies?" After seeing him hesitate, she quickly added, "Its not mandatory. Just a suggestion."

He chuckled. "I think we should include them too. They are the first ones to reach out to us so I think we should get started on it right away."
