Edward along with his General and few soldiers reached the sacred place of the werewolves where the treaty was to be signed. Each forest had a sacred place for werewolves. It was a shrine dedicated to Goddess Selene, the patron Goddess of Werewolves and Moon. The werewolves were already there.

Edward tried to ignore the radiant beauty of Serephina. She wore a formal blue gown with a sweetheart neckline and slit sleeves. Blue was their shade of peace. Her Beta, Delta and Zeta along with one or two warriors presentalso wore blue. It was an ombre dress with the lower part a dark blue shade and the upper part, sky blue shade. Her long black was tied in a simple half-ponytail. She wore no jewellery expect for a heart-shaped locked around her neck.

Both the parties bowed to each other. "It is a pleasure to be your ally." Serephina said in her angelic voice and offered her hand.

He took her hand and firmly shook it. "Likewise." Her touch was warm and full of life against his cold touch. Her hand perfectly fit into his, as if his hands were made to hold hers.

"After you." Edward offered. She politely obliged and stepped on a raised platform which had a marble table. The feather was placed beside the treaty. She picked it up, dipped it into the ink and signed her name. Edward did the same. They both faced each other.

"To seal the agreement, we shall draw our blood." Serephina went first by accepting the dagger offered by her Beta. She cut her thumb and dropped two drops of blood next to her signature. Edward drew his sword and cut his finger. He quickly dropped one drop of blood before his wound closed up.

Serephina took a piece of parchment from her Beta and offered it to Edward. "To celebrate our peace, I would like to personally invite you to my Beta's wedding held a month from now on the night of New Moon. The further details are listed on the invitation."

Edward nodded. "We will surely be present." He opened the letter later in his room and read carefully through it. The letter stated that it would take place at 7 on the night of New Moon in the shrine of Goddess Selene and everyone was allowed to bring two guests. The wedding would last till 12 in the night.

He summoned his mother to his room. "What is this about dear?" She asked, looking a little happy. She had not talked to her son for such a long time and she craved to be in his presence and talk to him like how mothers spoke with their children.

"You like weddings, don't you?" He asked, having a neutral face.

"Yes I do like weddings. It is a sacred bond of love. Why do you ask?"

"Today I signed the peace treaty with the werewolves and they have invited us to their Beta's wedding." He pushed the piece of parchment towards his mother. She took it and read carefully through it. Her mouth curved into a smile as she read through it.

She looked at her soon. "I will surely come with you. Who will you take as your second guest?"

"I was thinking perhaps my General."

She stood up in glee and excitement. "Okay, we have a lot to do. The color of weddings for werewolves is red, just like ours but we cannot wear red since it is the bride's color. The other colors include golden for the bridesmaids and for guests, its lilac. We have to wear lilac so I shall inform our tailor to get ready with our clothes. Even for your General. We need to look presentable." She nodded to herself in her own world and walked out of the room, lost in thought. He left her be. His mother loved dressing up since she never had the chance to dress herself under his father's dominance.

He sighed and called his General. After explaining it to him, his General looked surprised. "But how can I....?"

"It is alright. Store it well for other weddings. Dismissed." He flicked his hand, dismissing him. After his General exited his room, he looked out of his window, lost in thought. He didn't even realize that his aunt had come in with his medicine.

"What are you thinking?" She asked gently. He blinked and looked at her, disoriented for a moment.

He shook his head. "Nothing. Thank you for the medicine." He took the cup and took a sip.

"You are lost in thought. Do you want me to read your mind?" She asked, her eyes glowing.

He put the cup down immediately. "No. Do not do that."

"Its too late. I already did. Who is Serephina?"

He sighed in frustration. "Serephina is the Alpha of the Lunar pack."

"Oh the female Alpha. Yes, what about her?"

He looked at her as if she was mad. "That is the point. I don't know why I keep thinking of her. I don't why I keep thinking about her long flowing black hair, her lively blue eyes with flecks of gray, the curve of her mouth when she smiles and the way her voice sounds when she speaks. I don't know why her face pops up in my head and the way her beauty radiates through her courage and simplicity. I don't know why her mere presence makes me feel like I'm alive again!" He shouted in one breath, breathing heavily.
