Serephina wore a white satin nightdress which reached below her knees. She wasn't dressing up for a man. This dress was the most comfortable for her out of the night dresses available in her closet. His words from the dinner stung her heart.

She had many men from her pack body-shame her for eating too much. With time, she had learnt to ignore such remarks and learned to love herself and her gorgeous body. She stepped out of her room, crossed the hall and knocked on Edward's door.

"Come in." His voice called out from inside. She entered the room and closed the door behind her. Edward looked heavenly with his hair loose on his shoulders, a white translucent shirt that hung loosely on him and his legs hidden under the silk sheets.

He gave her a small smile as she climbed into bed beside him and he leaned in for a kiss but she pulled away. "Is everything okay?"

She forced a smile. "Yes. Its just that I ate too much during dinner so I'm a little drowsy."

He studied her for a minute. "You are angry on my earlier remark aren't you?"

"A little. Yes."

"Serephina I was just joking. I'm new to this whole humor thing. I have never made a joke in a long time."

"You'd better not. Your last joke turned out to be a little offensive."

"I..."

"It isn't your fault Edward. I know. I'm not accusing you of anything." She smiled and gave him a peck on his lips. "You're wearing my gift." He looked down at his wrist. Sure enough, Serephina had gifted him a woven bracelet which had remarkable designs woven by hand.

"Indeed. How can I not?" He put his arm on her back and pulled her closer, kissing her. She deepened the kiss by wrapping her arms around his neck.  He went down to kiss her neck, a small moan escaping her lips. He found her sweet spot and sucked on it, making her tremble between her legs.

He took her arm and kissed the length of her scar. He slipped one of the straps off her shoulder, revealing another scar on her right shoulder. He kissed the spot. "You are gorgeous."

She smiled at him. "Not as much as you."

"I'm flattered by your remark."

"Let us sleep now." She said, lying down on the bed. He lied down beside her.

"Are you really sleepy?"

"Not really but I am slightly tired. After all, we did have a long session."

He smirked. "Oh honey, it was nothing. I have many more moves."

"Oh my god. You are very scandalous."

"Vampires are scandalous. It is our thing."

She turned on her, her back facing Edward. "Let me sleep now." She felt a hard body press on her back as a big, strong arm wrapped around her stomach, cuddling her.

"Good night, my love." He whispered.

"Good night." She closed her eyes, scooting closer to him. She felt safe and peaceful. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep.

She woke up, in the middle of the night, to Edward going to the bathroom. She sat up and rubbed her eyes as Edward came out of the bathroom, looking paler than usual, if possible.

"Are you okay Edward?"

He forced a small smile. "Oh yes, of course. Nature's calling. I apologize for waking you up." He climbed beside her. "Go back to sleep."

"You just had a nightmare didn't you?"

His smile faded. "Was it that obvious?"

She lied down, facing him. "No, but I have experience when it comes to having nightmares." She scooted closer and pulled his head to her chest, slowly caressing his hair.

"Relax your body, Edward. You are safe now. Whatever you dreamt of can't touch you with an Alpha by your side. Go to sleep." She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around him, being the bigger spoon here. He reluctantly snuggled into her chest, breathing in her warmth and instantly falling asleep.

The next morning, Serephina went down to meet her comrades. They had immediately started apologizing to her for not believing her earlier. Serephina chuckled. "Its alright. That is why you should always believe your Alpha."

"Yes Alpha. How is your stay here?" Delta Green asked, to change the subject.

"Its going alright. How is yours? Any discomfort or any remarks from the vampires here?"

"Surprisingly no Alpha. No one was rude to us. The only thing scary here are the dresses in the closet. They are too much for me to handle." Head Hunter Zeen said.

She chuckled. "They are a bit extravagant."

"Anyway, we are going to the kitchen to help out. They had asked for more help." She nodded at them. They bowed and walked away, leaving her.

"Excuse me miss?" A foreign called. She turned around to see a handsome man standing there. He looked somewhat like Edward but his hair was brown instead of silver but they had the same amber eyes.

"I'm sorry  but do I know you?"
