"You have to be fearless to be the Alpha." She stated, smiling sadly.

"Is it difficult to be a female Alpha?"

"Do you like avoiding other's questions?"

"You didn't answer my question too." She opened her mouth to say something but closed it, not having any good comebacks.

He chuckled lightly. "Yes, I do come here often. It is my haven."

She nodded her head in understanding. "What about you? Do you come here often here?"

She nodded her head. "I do. Its where my parents are buried. Right there." He followed her line of vision and saw that, a few feet away, there were two mounds with two tombstones embedded on the ground, at the start of it.

"I remember you. Do you remember me?" He asked, looking at her.

"How can I not? You saved my life and I'm grateful to you for that."

"Is that why you don't hate vampires?"

"Um, I guess so. I never really understood why vampires and werewolves were enemies. But then I started hating them during the war but then you changed my mind."

He extended his hand and lightly tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear with his fingers. She felt his cold and electric touch against her skin and it sent a slight shiver down her spine, making her gasp softly. His skin was pale and translucent whereas her skin was tanned. It was the first physical touch from her mate. She then realized that she was staring at him like a lovesick idiot.

She cleared her throat. "Please excuse me. I have to go." She turned on her heels to leave, but then he said,

"But you just got here. Aren't you going to pay your respects to your parents' grave?" She stopped and cursed under her breath so that he wouldn't hear.

She turned around and forced a smile. "I just remembered that I had some work to do. I should probably get to it. Have a good day." With that she turned around again and walked away, her hair bouncing lightly with her fast paced steps. She walked far enough and hid behind a tree. She put her hand on her chest to stop her beating heart. Her heart was racing a mile a minute.

"What are you doing here?" She jumped and turned to her left to see Hollis Amulet standing there. She was the Faerie Queen of this land and had a good relationship with the werewolves but they never participated in their affairs. She was taller than Serephina with flowing yellow hair and glass green eyes. Like pure green eyes with no black pupil in the middle. She had pointed ears and slightly pointed canines, not as pointed as werewolves and vampires.

She let out a breath. "You scared me Hollis. Don't sneak up on me."

She grinned. "I like sneaking up on you. Anyway, why are you hiding?"

She peaked from the tree to see Edward. Hollis followed her vision and gasped. "You have a crush on the King?"

"Be quite Hollis. He might hear you." She whisper scolded her. "Besides, I do not have a crush on him."

She opened her mouth in realization and joy. "You imprinted on him?!" She exclaimed, clapping her hands with joy.

Serephina put her hand over her mouth, muffling the rest of her words. "I said be quite. Are you crazy?"

"Who is crazy?" Serephina jumped and turned around to see Edward standing there, his hands knotted behind his back. She let go of Hollis and forced a smile.

He saw over her shoulder and spotted Hollis. "Queen Amulet, I did not expect to see you here."

She looked between them. Serephina made a face at her, her expression saying "Lie and save me from his presence". "I was just talking to Alpha Black. We are close friends. What are you doing here?"

"Just passing. I will leave you two friends alone then." He walked away, leaving them alone. Serephina didn't realize she was holding her breath and let it out in relief.

"You both make the perfect match." Hollis commented, grinning at her as soon as they were out of earshot.

Serephina rolled her eyes. "Shut up. I already have a hard time breathing around him. You want me to go up to him and say that "I love you and I imprinted on you. Wanna be mates?"" She added sarcastically.

"Okay, you are in a bad mood. I will get going." She stated and vanished, leaving Serephina all alone.

Serephina sighed. "I'm going to be alone forever." She went back inside her pack borders and walked straight to her house. Her house wasn't as big as a castle or a palace but still it was the biggest one in the pack. It was more like a mansion with its walls white marble.

She walked to her music room and sat in front of her piano. She slowly brushed her fingers over the keys. She placed her hands on the keys and started playing a soft sound. The rhythm picked up beat in the middle, but slowed down in the end, ending the song on a small fading out tune.
