Serephina turned around and found Cain Albert standing there quite awkwardly.

"Oh its you." She said quietly, feeling embarrassed. She still had her arms around Edward's neck. She let her hands fall to her sides. She wasn't trying to hide Edward. He already saw them like this so he probably understood that they were more than friends.

"You both know each other?" Edward asked, his expression suddenly cold and distant.

"Oh my apologies. Please do continue. I shall be on my way." He apologized and turned around to walk away.

"Its alright. What are you doing here anyway?"

"I was on my way to meet you."

"Why?"

"I wanted your advice on the peace treaty with vampires. Since King Edward has already reached out, his siblings are reaching out too."

"If it isn't urgent, you may come to my pack after an hour."

He smiled. "Thank you." He bowed his head slightly and walked away, leaving them alone.

"Who is he?" Serephina jumped again. His lips were so close to her ears and he  didn't even whisper.

"Oh, he is the Alpha of Blue Moon Pack. Cain Albert."

He narrowed his eyes. "I hate him. Don't talk to him."

"Seriously? I don't see why you are jealous of him. Have you seen yourself in the mirror? You are much hotter than him."

"I'm not jealous." His voice cold as ice.

Serephina sighed. "Edward listen, I barely know him. I have imprinted on you. No matter who tries what, my feelings for you will never change."

He leaned forward and kissed her hard on lips, grabbing her waist. She widened her eyes after he pulled away. "Whenever you are referring to me, call me by my name. I like it coming out of your lips."

She blushed at that. "You can't do anything straight can you? You always have to go in circles."

He shrugged casually, his icy nature now replaced with a warmer version. "What can I do? I'm the King after all."

"You are becoming arrogant." She chuckled.

The carriage jerked slightly as it rode over uneven grounds. Serephina sat inside it with Ada and Zeen sittimg across from her. Ada clutched a small bag to her chest and Zeen only carried a pouch and a dagger. Serephina had nothing with her except for a small box. That box contained a small gift for Edward.

"What is that Alpha?" Zeen asked, looking at her possession. Zeen was a tall woman with well-built arms and legs and blonde hair cut short.

"Oh its just something for my mate."

"Your mate is a vampire?" Ada asked, her eyes round with shock and surprise.

Serephina nodded her head, smiling. "Not just any vampire. The king himself."

"Oh my Alpha. This indeed is an elaborate joke."

"It is not a joke dear Zeen. I do hope that your informal remarks is confined with your fellow hunters. I'm your Alpha."

She remained quite, bowing her head slightly. Serephina glanced outside again, the wind blowing her long hair. She had taken the time to neatly tie it up and wear something a little more formal.

The carriage reached to a stop and the doors opened. Two servants stood at the exit of the carriage, ready to help them. Serephina was slightly flustered as two servants held her arms and heaved her down. They did the same with the other two and Zeen almost blew their heads off.

Other carriages carrying other guests had arrived too and they were being greeted by the Royal Queen Mother and the King. Edward noticed Serephina and he excused himself and approached them.

"I hope your journey was smooth." He said, taking Serephina's hand and kissing it.

She blushed slightly. "Yes, thanks to you." Ada and Zeen stood speechless.

"Meet my Delta Green and Head Hunter Zeen."

"Nice to meet you ladies. I do hope your stay here be comfortable."

They bowed in front of him. "The servants will show you the way." They glanced at Serephina but she smiled and encouraged them to go ahead without her. They bowed again and they were led into the palace by two servants.

"Here." Serephina handed the box to Edward.

He frowned. "What is this?"

"Bomb." He looked confused. "It is a gift from me. It is small but I do hope you like it."

He gave her a small smile. "Thank you Serephina. I do hope that I can call you by your name."

She chuckled. "Of course you can."

"Let me show you your room." He started walking. She was a little confused but followed him nevertheless. The palace was huge and majestic with many corridors, staircases and twists and turns that one could get lost in it. It was a maze in itself.

He led her into a corridor which seemed to be detached from the main part of the palace. He led her through the corridors and they reached a room. The door was a sliver-gray color with no patterns whatsoever.

"That is my room." He pointed at the door across from her. The door was black, pure black in color, as if he was asking everyone not to enter his room.
