16 - The Best!

"I truly apologize, Young Master. I'm afraid I won't be able to give you the information that you need," The hotel head said with a 90-degree bow as he apologized sincerely. Normally, Mo Tian Zi could have gotten the information that he needed using only his name but this time due to the information involving individuals from nobility, the information about whether a specific person was staying at the Empire Hotel and which room they are checked-in cannot be disclosed. Empire Hotel is known for its top-notch security so even if it's Mo Tian Zi, the third son of the Mo family, he simply cannot abuse the rules set by the company owner.

Looking at the person sitting on top of the hotel's management still bowing, Tian Zi had no choice but to nod in defeat.

"Alright, I understand," Tian Zi said. Fyre as well had no choice but to nod. Earlier when they were declined of the information they needed after talking to the staff, he was kinda annoyed but now that they are talking to the hotel head, they are left with no choice.

"Thank you for your understanding, Young Master. We have prepared your private room in case you want to stay longer," The hotel manager said and bowed again lightly. Tian Zi simply nodded again and waved his hand to dismiss him. The room he checked in earlier with Kathy Ness was a normal hotel room so he was glad the hotel manager still ordered someone to clean his private space even without being asked.

"I'm sorry. I'll try to contact Eldest Brother but he might not give me access to it. The Wood household is a strong supporter of the Mo family business and even Eldest Brother simply couldn't offend them," Tian Zi explained to Fyre which was true. Although Mo Laotian is now powerful enough to sever ties from the Woods, it would probably still give him a lot of troublesome work if he does.

"No, it's okay. We can probably find him if we look for him ourselves," Fyre said and various ideas are already flooding his mind. The Empire Hotel is a huge building but if they tally the rooms down, they should be able to find Jonathan. Furthermore, if Tian Zi is far greater than him in hacking and programming, they could also try and hack the hotel's security system and look for Jonathan in the CCTV footage or the files where customers are listed, such a file should exist among this building's computer program and it'll easy to find when they get in.

"For now, we'll be staying," Fyre said and later pushed Tian Zi towards the elevator. When they got inside, he urged the Alpha to press the floor number where his private room was. Tian Zi didn't complain and followed Fyre's demand and soon they got out walking to the hallway leading to his exclusive room on the 18th floor. It's the floor that only had three rooms on it. One for Mo Laotian, another for Mo Hanlu, and lastly for Mo Tian Zi. Tian Zi had never brought anyone to his exclusive room so this was the first time he was letting someone in, even his Older Brothers simply couldn't get inside and if they did, he would know.

"What are you hiding inside to have such high-tech security?" Fyre asked curiously looking at the security identification machine on the door where someone had to have either the passcode or identification card to be able to get in.

"Nothing. I just don't want anyone touching my stuff without permission," Tian Zi replied leisurely as he opened the door wide for Fyre to step in before he followed and closed the door.

"What about the cleaning service?"

"I guess I trust them enough to clean this room from time to time," Tian Zi said, shrugging his shoulders. Yes he didn't like anyone touching his things but having someone to clean his room for him is a must and as long as things stay the same as he wanted he was fine with it. Moreover, the employees from the lowest to top positions in the hotel are expected to be trustworthy. But even if they did something unusual, they would be found out as soon as possible.
