156 - Always Will Be

"Get away from him," Tian Zi gritted, pointing his gun toward Lucien who was clearly about to do something bad to his fiancé. When Fyre's location moved, he knew something bad was happening. Not to mention, he could smell the Omega's scent all over the floor. Fortunately, it only made it easier for him to track and find the right room but he did not expect he would witness the Alpha doing something to his beloved.

Tian Zi glared at the man on top of his lover and made sure he burned his face in his mind so no matter what would happen, he will remember not to ever forgive him.

"...ahh, so you have come," Lucien mentioned between his labored breath and slightly pulled away from the barely conscious Fyre. He shifted his gaze at the intruders and he smiled seeing a total of four men; two of them seemed to be bothered by the pheromones engulfing the room just like him. At least, he wouldn't be the only one who is at a disadvantage.

Earlier, when he heard they were being infiltrated, he admitted that he underestimated the situation and asked Apollo to handle it. Still, he did not regret his decision since if he asked someone to look for Fyre, he wouldn't have known that he was in heat. Unfortunately, since pheromones are something he's not very good at dealing with, his judgment was a bit clouded, especially now since he'll have to deal with an enemy. Still, seeing that there's just a small team, it might not be too difficult for him to escape.

"Yes, I did, so get your hands off of him!" Tian Zi growled. Luckily, aside from him and Nigel, the rest of his team are Betas so even if he and Nigel become out of it, there are still more of them who will remain sane.

"I'm amazed you found us, how did you do it?" Lucien tried to distract, getting off of Fyre as commanded. He hates that he couldn't take Fyre with him but he's thinking he should find a way to escape when a chance comes. Well, he actually already has a plan and he's only waiting for the right time to execute it without fail.

"Shut up! Step away from the bed and don't move," Tian Zi yelled. Fyre's pheromones begin to take over him, making him more desperate. Not to mention that he could see his lover struggling and almost unconscious on the bed making him even more furious.

Quickly, as soon as Lucien got away from the bed, Tian Zi dropped his gun and rushed towards Fyre who was still breathing heavily. He softly lifted Fyre into his arm after quickly draping a blanket over his naked body before caressing his cheeks and pushing the hair that was covering his damp face. However, still unaware that it was him, Fyre struggled and screeched in fear.

"Ahhh Nooo... Noooo... let go! let go!" Fyre yelled in horror, his tears began to flow again. He had just woken up after briefly fainting from the hit Lucien did to him and his sight had yet to focus so he thought it was Lucien who was still touching him.

"Shhh... Fyre it's me. You're safe now... I'm here, Baby. I'm here," Tian Zi whispered, calming Fyre down and when Fyre heard him, he stopped his struggles and looked at the person holding him. And confirming that it was indeed Tian Zi, his eyes widened briefly in shock before he bawled and jumped on his lover. He didn't know when and how but he's never been so happy and relieved to see Tian Zi. He was just calling his name just now and he believed no matter how much he called, the Alpha wouldn't come but he did! He really did!

"Zi~ Wahhhh~" Fyre cried tightly, wrapping his arms around his lover's neck as he cowered against his arms. He didn't know what was happening but he was so glad Tian Zi came. Meanwhile, watching all of this unfold in front of him, Lucien's eyes turn cold and dark as he clenches his hands into a fist. He didn't know why but suddenly, his chest began to ache at the sight. Fyre was his! He's the one thinking about him the most all these years but now the Omega was clinging to a different man? The sight hurt his ego and he so wanted to pull Fyre away from Mo Tian Zi and into his arms. Even though his intention was different from romantic affection, he would be lying if had said now that he wasn't jealous.
