187 - Not A Child!

"Are you done?" Tian Zi asked as soon as Fyre got out of the room. He neared him and habitually pulled the Omega close to him so their bodies could touch.

"Yep," Fyre replied with a soft chuckle before he leaned close to Tian Zi and hugged him. He felt a little upset and jealous. He wondered why do people who didn't even want kids turn out to have kids instead while he and Tian Zi had been struggling to get one. Of course, Tian Zi noticed Fyre's sudden behavior but he decided to change the topic as he scoped his lover's face from burying against his chest and lifted it so they would be looking at each other's eyes.

"Good and since I don't think I can convince you of this, let's get it over with so we can go home already. Is that okay?" Tian Zi suggested, thinking it was probably best to get out of this place as soon as they could. Well, he is confident that Fyre would be safe when he's around but he still hates the thought of his mate meeting another Alpha who almost assaulted him. Meanwhile, Fyre pouted but he later nodded thinking it was probably for the best as well.

"You cute little thing," after seeing Fyre pout, Tian Zi couldn't help but find the Omega adorable so he quickly pinched his cheeks and commented, not being able to suppress himself from touching such soft and supple cheek buns. On the other hand, Fyre blushed. Since he had always been bad at handling compliments no matter how much Tian Zi does it to him, he quickly pushed his lover away and acted upset.

"Tch. What are you saying!? I told you I'm not cute..."

"Right! Because you're handsome... But can't you be cute and adorable while being handsome?" Tian Zi said with a playful chuckle, making Fyre even more flushed.

"No! Tch. Whatever! Let's go and get this over with," Fyre said and without waiting, walked away. To be honest, there was really nothing important he wanted to talk to Lucien about. He just wanted to see him one last time as he finally let go of his trauma. He's aware that it wouldn't be that easy but with Tian Zi, he knew he could do it. It doesn't matter to him either if Lucien answered his question or cursed and threatened him, he just wanted to have that one last encounter where he wasn't afraid of the Alpha. Because even though he was told that Lucien had been captured, his mind wouldn't settle down unless he actually saw the man all chained up and to be locked up forever away from him.

"Yeah. Yeah. You're always so moody but I like it, hehe," Tian Zi expressed, following his lover like a loyal pup. It wasn't until they saw Nigel waiting for them at the underground cell that Tian Zi reverted back to his dignified Alpha image.

"Young Master, all the preparations are finished," Nigel reported, which instantly caused Fyre to look at his lover. The question 'What is he talking about?' was plastered on his face, making Tian Zi helplessly scratch his neck. Well, he couldn't really help it, since Fyre wanted to meet the bastard who tried to hurt him, he needed to do some preparations and so he asked Nigel to inject the prisoner with drugs that would calm his nerves but not too much that he would lose his consciousness. That way, Lucien wouldn't be sober enough to try and hurt his mate.

"Don't worry about it. I just did some things for your safety," Tian Zi assured, while Fyre narrowed his eyes toward his lover. He just wondered why there must be some preparations for him to meet Lucien when the Alpha is already chained up and couldn't touch, but then again, he let go of the thought and nodded at the end. Soon, Nigel went ahead to unlock the door before it opened.

Fyre stepped inside cautiously with Tian Zi following behind. It was a room without windows so the only light source was the bright led bulb on the ceiling. The room wasn't small but it wasn't big either and since there was nothing inside the empty room aside from the man chained up on a concrete chair, Fyre's eyes immediately locked towards Lucien who seemed to be sleeping.
