AT THE HOSPITAL
It's 11:46 AM. Lacey is (impatiently) waiting to leave.

LACEY:
Can we leave yet?

ANNA:
Well I need to find the doctor so we can sign forms and stuff. So I'm gonna go find him. You wait here.

Anna leaves to search for the doctor. Lacey is all ready to go. She is dressed and even has done her makeup and hair. She looks around the room.

LACEY:
Oh I'm not gonna miss this room at all.

Anna is in the hallway and is looking for someone to ask where Dr. Hugo is. She spots another doctor and approaches them.

ANNA:
Um, hello. I was wondering if Dr. Hugo is available? My, well, girlfriend is waiting to be discharged.

DOCTOR:
What room is she in?

ANNA:
Uh, room 210.

DOCTOR:
Okay I will page him to her room.

ANNA:
Okay, thank you.

Anna walks back to Lacey's room. Lacey is still sitting at the foot of the bed in the same criss cross applesauce position.
Lacey looks at Anna.

ANNA:
So a doctor said that she was going to page Dr. Hugo to the room.

LACEY:
Okay good!

Anna sits down behind Lacey in the bed. Lacey turns around to face Anna. They wait for Dr. Hugo to come by playing with each other fingers.

ANNA:
You're my girlfriend, right?

LACEY:
Yeah, I'd like to think that.

ANNA:
Okay good because I told the doctor that you were my girlfriend.

LACEY:
That's fine with me.

Lacey pulls Anna in with her one available hand and kisses her. Anna puts her hands on Lacey's waist and slides her hand up her back.

ANNA:
Okay the doctor might be here soon and he doesn't need to see us making out.

LACEY:
Fine. Just one more kiss?

ANNA:
Sure.

When Anna leans in Lacey leans in more and purposefully knocks Anna over so that Lacey is on top of her.
Anna yelps.

ANNA:
Lacey!

But there's nothing she can do because Lacey is already kissing her. Anna reaches her arms around Lacey and to her butt.
The doctor knocks on the closed door. Lacey jumps off of Anna and into the chair on the side of the bed. Anna wipes her mouth and sits up in the bed.
Dr. Hugo walks in.

DR. HUGO:
I thought you were the patient. Not her.

Dr. Hugo points to Lacey then to Anna. They both awkwardly laugh.

DR. HUGO:
Well, Lacey I heard that you want to be discharged now?

LACEY:
Yes, doctor I do.

DR. HUGO:
Okay well I have these for you to sign.

Dr. Hugo hands Lacey a clipboard with papers on it.

DR. HUGO:
Just read these and sign where it says.

LACEY:
Okay thank you. And then who should I give them to?

DR. HUGO:
Just give them to the receptionist on this floor. A nurse will be coming in shortly to give you your medication and to give you some pointers on how to deal with your cast.

ANNA:
Thank you.

LACEY:
Yeah, thank you.

Dr. Hugo leaves. They both start laughing.

ANNA:
I told you we should have stopped!

LACEY:
Eh, it was worth it. Now where were we?
