AT THE HOSPITAL
Anna is still sitting next to Lacey in her room waiting for her to wake up.
Finally Lacey's eyes slowly open up. Anna shoots up in her chair.
ANNA:
Hi. Hi, Lacey. It's Anna. I'm here.
Lacey looks around confused.
LACEY:
Where am I?
ANNA:
You are at the hospital. You were in a car accident. How are you feeling?
LACEY:
I have a pounding headache. It's so bright in here.
ANNA:
Just close your eyes. I'm here.
Anna brings Lacey's hand to her face and kisses it. She sets her hand back down and closes the curtains so it isn't too bright for her.
She sits back down and grabs Lacey's hand once again. She smiles because she knows that Lacey is going to be okay.
