AT LACEYS HOUSE
Lacey doesn't have to go to work anymore so she stays home and does little projects around the house. She is home alone because Liam is at school.
She wants to repay Anna for the earrings. So she make's wooden promise rings for the two of them.
When she's finished she puts them in little fancy bags. She texts Anna.
LACEY:
Hey, do you want to come over after your work tonight?
ANNA:
Sure! Can't wait!
LACEY:
Great! Also I have a gift for you to repay you for the earrings!
ANNA:
Oh, you don't have to do that.
LACEY:
But I wanted to, I hope you like it!
ANNA:
I'm sure I will.
LACEY:
Also, Liam will be here.
ANNA:
Okay. I like Liam. And I think he likes me too.
LACEY:
Oh he for sure likes you. He always talks about you.
ANNA:
That's sweet. He's really a great kid Lacey.
LACEY:
I know. He is.
ANNA:
Like, seriously Lacey. He's one of the best kids I've ever met. He really gets that from you.
LACEY:
Thank you. I hope he gets that from me. Anyways, see you tonight!
Lacey puts down her phone and smiles.
