NICOLE'S P.O.V
Today's the day. The day of my audition. The nerves were overflowing my system. I could barely even talk. My mom decided to drive me there since I couldn't get a hold of Chandler or anyone else.
"Are you nervous?" She asked me.
I nodded my head quickly.
"Don't be. Everything is going to go great. You're amazing."
"Thanks mom." I gave her a weak smile.
After a while of silence, we finally pulled up to the building where it was all going to happen. I walked in, my script in my hand, trying to act as professional as possible.
15 minutes early. Perfect.
I say down and studied my script a bit. Saying my lines out loud since I was the only one there so far.
"Nicole Sterling?" I heard a woman say from the left of me. She had short blonde hair and a very sophisticated outfit on. She stood at the door, waiting for me.
I made my way towards her, entering the audition room.
"Hello Nicole!" She said. "Speak whenever you're ready."
I nodded my head and began.
"My name's Lydia...Who are you?"
"Carl..." The reader replied.
"What'd you do to get in here. Had to be something bad."
Our scripts continued for awhile till it was finally over.
"Thank you. We will get back to you." She smiled as I left the room. I took a deep breath in and hugged my mom.
"Wow! You're shaking!"'She giggled.
"Yeah...I know..."
*** 3 weeks later
Still no callback. I paced around my room, biting on my fingernails, nervously.
Then, the phone rang. I lunged myself at it, ripping it to my ear.
"Hello?" I said, acting somewhat calm.
"Hello. Is this Nicole?"
"Yes."
"This is Lindsay. The casting director. We would love to have you back for a callback!"
"WOW! THATD BE-oh um I mean, sounds good!"
"Okay! I will send you the information via email."
"Okay. Thank you!"
"No, thank you."
Then, the phone call was ended with a continuous beeping noise. I sat the phone down and looked at the ground. Brainstorming.
If I do get that part... Chandler and I... What about the kissing scene...?
