NICOLE'S P.O.V
We ran. We dashed to the house. Full speed.
I knew we couldn't outrun the waves.
I helped the family to the stairs, noticing everyone piling into the house.
That's when I heard he first crash. It sounded like a bomb had been set off. It was followed by more.
My eyes went wide as I sprinted up the stairs, heading towards the enterance.
I looked inside to see Chandler running to the top floor. He glanced at the window, noticing me.
"NICOLE!" He screamed. They were muffled. That's when the water and I collided, slung into the deep.
CHANDLER'S P.O.V
"NO!" I screamed as she disappeared from sight.
Tears were streaming down my face. I felt crippled as I fell to my knees.
Then, I heard creaking. The wooden frames holding up the house were giving in.
Soon, it became snapping like a tree falling in the forest. I could see houses being torn down my the humongous waves, palm trees being toppled.
The house leaned towards the back, making everyone ram into each other. The windows crashed into millions of shards, letting the muddy water rush in.
Freddie was behind me, holding on to the railing. Evianna and Keenan were gripping on to each other.
Another crash came and the house tilted. Keenan broke threw the railings, Evianna grabbing his hand before he fell.
The water rushed in like a place for white water rafting.
"Hold on, baby!" Evianna screamed for him.
"Baby?" Freddie said, angrily. Keenan held another part of the railing for dear life, Evianna's hand in his other.
Freddie slowly put his hand on he railing.
"Don't do it, Freddie." I said, beggingly.
He smirked, then pushed the wood with force, snapping it.
The grip loosened.
Splash.
You could see the silhouette thrashing in the water, twitching as objects that the monster had picked up impaling him.
Soon, the water was filling with blood. Quickly, it was washed away, invaded with more water. Forgetting all the innocent lives that were sacrificed.
