CHANDLER'S P.O.V
I heard her. She's alive.

My voice boomed through the chimney, the house sturdy, but I didn't know how much it could take.

I scooted my way back up till I was once again at the roof of the building. This was a very large house, so the wave could not penetrate the whole structure. The wave made its way quickly through the land, it had already hit the building I was on. I heard creaking and then snaps. The house shifted towards the side, making me lose my balance. I tripped over the material of the roof, causing me to fall off of the structure.

My best chance was to go feet first, so it wouldn't be so painful. That's what I did. I went like a pencil and into the water. Bad thing was I didn't how shallow it was or how much gunk was under the surface. My foot quickly slammed down and a sharp pain shot through my right leg. It was like I had just been paralyzed.

I swam to a broken palm tree gliding on the surface. I lifted myself up, my foot also.

I cried in pain as I observed the broken branch lodged through my right foot.

FREDDIES P.O.V
I swam as fast as possible, leaving Nicole behind if she was just going to sit there.

My arms were get worn out, same with my legs. I quickly looked back, she was just sitting there! Staring at the wave coming towards her! What a psychopath...

She held tightly onto a tree, like that's gonna help her.

I swam hard, the wave coming.

One last glance.

The wave which was speeding at her was inching closer. As soon as it got close enough she ducked down under the water, grasping onto the roots of the standing palm tree.

It passed over her, coming towards me.

As I turned, I saw her head come up from out of the water. She was gasping for air.

How did she survive?

Too much thinking, I need to swim. I could hear the water rushing for me. I started screaming as I could feel it pulling at my legs.

Then, it engulfed me.
