Chapter 14

I felt someone caressed my face, at ibinaling ko sa kabila ang aking ulo para hindi na niya ako mahawakan, I yawned and squinted my eyes and napabalikwas ako ng bangon ng makitang nasa harap ako ng isang mamahaling restaurant.

"Morning sleepy head" He said at inis naman akong bumaling sa kanya at napatigil ako dahil sa kanyang tamad na ngiti and because of that effortless smile my face heated up and fluttering sensations were now crawling to my stomach.

"Hey, are you okay?" he asked me when he noticed my expression pero unlike last time hindi ko iniwas ang tingin ko bagkus, ay sinamaan siya ng tingin to hide my overflowing admiration for him.

"Asan tayo?" I asked him my face, still burning.

"I'll treat you to dinner, because you didn't let me pay for your groceries" He said at lumabas siya ng kanyang sasakyan at mabilis naman akong sumunod at nang isinara ko na ang pintuan ng kotse ay bumaling ako sa kanya, his lips were pursed and I again, just gave him a small smile.

"You don't need to do this, kasi responsibilidad ko namang mag bayad sa sarili kong groceries" I said to him as I eyes the groceries at the back and I crinkled my nose at their sight. A very manly car with pink grocery bags.

"I'm older than you, and para kana ring pamilya" oh, parang nakababatang kapatid pala ang turing mo sa 'kin.

"You don't have too" I said to him at namalayan ko nalang na hila hila na pala niya ako papasok sa isang mamahaling restaurant.

"Sir!" Gulat na bati ng maitre d "The usual seat?" Sabi ng maitre d halatang gulat sa presensya ni Bryson at mas lalong na gulat ng makita niya ako na kasama ni Bryson at hinagod pa niya ako ng tingin dahil sa pambahay na suot, his stares were degrading, but I shrugged it off thinking it was just my overly conscious mind.

Tumango naman si Bryson bilangang sagot at ginabyan niya kami sa isang upuan and my eyes widened and gaze unmovable. The sight is breathtaking, kung maganda yung pintahan namin ni Monica, diko na alam kung anong itatawag ko dito.

We are overlooking the city lights. The sky was full of stars and there were plants outside circling the pond full of koi's.

"This place is breathtaking" I said to Bryson while still looking at the beautiful scenery in front of me. And I leaned over the glass wall and rested my palms there to get a better view of the swimming fishes.

"Yeah..... Yeah it is" He whispered while looking at me.

Inangat ko ang tingin ko sa kanya and found myself hypnotized by his dark deep tantalizing eyes. My heart beat was always erratic when I'm around him and right now, it is the most erratic that has ever been. I smiled at him pouring all the unknown and unsayable feelings on one smile... hoping that... he feels the same way, because right now, all I can think is how much my heart beats for him... I love him and I will chase him not like how I chase my previous crushes.

I will chase him till I make him mine.

"Thank you..... thank you for bringing me to this place! Ganda talaga, maybe soon...babalik ako dito" I said and gave him my brightest smile.

We are already eating, and from time to time ay tumitingin ako sa kanya. Watching his every move, savoring this very moment... He lifted his gaze at nagtama ang aming mga mata and I just smiled at him and continued to stare not minding to look away.

Nabaling lang ang atensyon ko ng may kumalampag ng drum. Drum? Diba fine dining ito? Isn't it supposed to be classical or romantic music? But live band is also great! kumunoot ang noo ko nang mapansin na ang mga tao doon ay parang problemado and one guy na may hawak na gitara was trying to calm them down, they were all wearing tuxedos, five young handsome not to mention hot men were there. I think they are a band.
