It was a very unusual morning for Y/N, having to eat breakfast with her friends without her girlfriend's presence, having to walk through the corridors alone with only her and her thoughts. The worst part of it all, was having no one or nothing to distract her from the looks she was given by students passing by.

Occasionally, she'd catch horrified glances given her way by new first years, or groups of girls staring at her while whispering gossips to one another. It wasn't anything new of course, but it did bother her more than usual that morning,  considering she didn't have her girlfriend there to distract her from it.

Despite the unusual morning, she had successfully made her way to the greenhouses, relieved to already see Ron and Hermione there. Though, when she went to greet the bushy-haired girl with the usual kiss on the cheek she was taken aback when Hermione practically dodged her kiss.

She was about to question the bushy-haired girl before being cut off by Professor Sprout, who then began the class with a lecture about the importance of their O.W.Ls.

Throughout the one and half hour of Herbology the Ravenclaw kept stealing glances at Hermione, hoping her girlfriend would at least spare her a glance, but no, all she was able to catch was Hermione whispering and talking to Ron and totally ignoring her existence.

This made Herbology feel like forever, but when Professor Sprout had finally dismissed the class and everybody had made their way out of the greenhouse, Y/N practically dashed right out and grabbed Hermione by the wrist, making sure she had no way of ignoring her now.

"What's up with you?" Y/N asked, her tone coming off a little harsh than she had intended to. She earned a huff from Hermione as she crossed her arms over her chest, staring pointedly into the Ravenclaw's eyes, "Nothing."

The Ravenclaw had her eyebrows furrowed deeply together, ignoring her was one thing but beating around the bush like this? Her eyes started squinting closer and closer together at the bushy-haired girl, "Why're you ignoring me?"

"Dunno." Hermione muttered plainly with a shrug, her gaze averting anywhere and everywhere but at the Ravenclaw.

"Was it something I did?" Y/N questioned impatiently. Hermione didn't respond, she took a deep sigh, trying to come off as cool and calm as possible,  "What did I do? Could you at least tell me instead of ignoring me-"

"I've got class to get to." Hermione cut in quickly as she brushed past Y/N's shoulder, but she wasn't here for it, she needed to get it sorted out now.

She quickly motioned right in front of the bushy-haired girl, blocking her from going any further as their gazes locked for the first time in the entire morning, "Mione, you can't go off and ignore me all day, we both know that never works."

"Fine. we'll talk about this, later." the bushy-haired girl stated, "After dinner, meet me at the Gryffindor prefect's dorm."

"Sure." the Ravenclaw responded quickly, there was a sudden awkward pause before she decided to speak again,  "Um, want me to walk you to class..?"
