White specks of snow were now falling from the sky, the coldest season of the year had arrived as December crept in. Even though there isn't much of a celebration needed to end of November it seemed that a pair of girls had decided to give their last day of November a sweet little memorable moment.

In the large quiet and peaceful room of requirements, the only sound that echoed was the sound of the cackling fire still burning in the fireplace and the sound of soft even breathing from the two girls cuddled up on the sofa.

The sound of wind rattling the windows seemed to cause a certain someone to gain back their consciousness as their eyes slowly fluttered open, to be met with the blazing fire on the opposite and the speckles of snow raining down outside the window on a Monday morning.

Y/N's eyes squinted towards the clock, still drowsy from the sleep. It was 8 a.m. which meant she had an hour left before class. Deeply sighing she leaned back to the sofa, shifting her gaze to the girl in her hold, only to have her lips curled up to a smile.

Hermione's face was snuggled into her chest, her arms wrapped tightly around Y/N as if eager for warmth despite having a blanket draped over them. She watched the bushy-haired girl's chest slowly heaving up and down, her mind clearly not in the same reality as the Ravenclaw.

She stared at her girlfriend for a few minutes, just taking in the beauty in front of her. Honestly how could someone be so pretty when they're doing nothing but sleeping, how?

Few minutes passed where she just watched her girlfriend asleep, she wondered if this would be the sight she'd see every morning, the feeling she'd feel every night before bed. 'You're safe with me now, love.' those words from last night rang around her ears.

Even though she was too drowsy to react the night before but right now those words gave Y/N a sense of immense comfort, peace, she did in fact feel safe whenever she was with Hermione, every time they'd spend time together her worries would just fly away.

There was a sudden shift from Hermione as she turned from her side to lay on her back, snapping Y/N out of her thoughts as she watched Hermione let out a soft sigh. "Morning, love."

The Ravenclaw's eyes went wide before returning to its usual size, Hermione's eyes didn't motion to open itself as it kept shut. "Morning, Angel."

"It's not nice to stare you know." the bushy-haired girl teased, her voice low and hoarse considering she just woken up. A scoff left the Ravenclaw lips, "How'd you know I'm staring? Your eyes are closed."

"Instinct." Hermione stated simply, finally fluttering her eyes open as she and Y/N shared a snicker.

"Mhm...sure." Y/N hummed playfully as she sent a gentle squeeze to Hermione's hip. "Had fun last night?"

"I'm always having fun when I'm with you." Hermione mumbled softly with a smile curling up the corner of her lips as their faces were only a feet away from each other.
