Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts. A place where many would once call home, a school where students were once using magic to defend themselves.

Once.

But now, right now. Hogwarts itself still had a homey feeling, it still felt like home to Y/N but a home that had been corrupted by the Ministry's oblivion.

A school meant for magic that is now a school filled with problematics. The first week back to school was anything but cheerful.

Y/N often found herself either busy planning the DA meetings or stuck up in the library, which is no surprise where she is now.

From an angle, it seemed like she was fully conscious of what she was doing, her hand mindlessly scribbling along a long piece of parchment while the other ran through the text of her potions book.

Occasionally you might catch her stopping midway but nothing too suspicious right? Just a normal Ravenclaw student, busy filling up their homeworks.

Well, wrong. If you took a closer look, you'd notice her half opened eyes and her head that was subtly dropping forwards from time to time.

How her head would suddenly shoot up after a fall, as if scaring herself awake every time she'd let herself fall
asleep.

That was what you could see from just a distance, but when you take a really closer look, you might just catch the very dark circles around her eyes, the paler tone of her skin and the all around drowsiness of her body movements.

Now, sleep? That's no longer existent in Y/N's vocabulary. Sleep? Maybe just a waste of time... That's, well, controversial.

Anyhow, she had been having a hard time sleeping. (Well, no shit sherlock)

Partially, because she hasn't been able to sleep with Hermione at the prefect's dorm at all, seems that Umbridge sent some of her Inquisitorial squad troops to lurk around the area, partially.

The main reason however, is how her mind would constantly bring up the vision of the snake, her being the snake and attacking Mr Weasley.

The thought of having to possibly see something somewhat close to that again, was horrifying. More than horrifying. Traumatizing.

Oh! Which reminds me, she and Harry's private Occlumency classes with Snape has also took a toll on her. Thank god, those classes were only once in two weeks.

Back to where we were, it seemed that Y/N was too busy dozing off to even notice or hear the footsteps approaching her nor the figure of a certain Gryffindor that had made her way directly opposite from her.

Though, it was the sound of the chair being dragged out that caused the Ravenclaw to snap her head up, drowsily taking notice of the person now sitting in front of her.
