Todoroki's POV:
I was so relieved when Midoriya agreed to spend the day with me. I wasn't prepared to take no for an answer, so I really don't know what I would've done if he decided he wanted to be alone. I've seen that idiot hurt so many times, you would think I'd be used to it by now, but seeing him shivering on that bench...it was scary. I couldn't take him to Recovery Girl, because she was needed elsewhere over the weekend, so I did what I could.
He's awake and he's okay, so I should be okay, but I'm not. I'm so far from okay. I could've lost him, again. I need to stop this. Keep it together.
I got dressed, and was sitting on my bed with my head in my hands trying to calm down, before I went downstairs, when I heard a knock on my door.
The hell? I opened the door to find Midoriya in a t-shirt and basketball shorts with a towel around his neck, hair still dripping from his shower. I just gave him a questioning look.
He rubbed the back of his neck, "So, I know we're going to the phone store so we'll have to go to the mall, but I don't actually want to hang out at the mall, unless you do, so I was just wondering what else we're doing today so I can know what to wear."
Did he even take a breath just now?
"Well, getting a phone is the only thing I need to do today. After that, we can do whatever you want."
"There's a book store relatively close to the mall that I like to go to," it was a statement but he said it more like a question.
"Sounds great. We can plan the rest of our day along the way," I replied.
"Great! Meet you downstairs in 15," he took off before I had a chance to say anything back.
I shook my head and grabbed my wallet and my dorm key, double checking my wallet for my student ID. Guess jeans and a dark blue 3 button y-neck tee was the appropriate choice in attire for today.
I closed my door and made sure it locked before taking the elevator to the ground floor. Shoji and Ojiro where in the sitting area watching the news. I tossed a small wave at them, on my way to the kitchen. Uraraka and Sato were eating their breakfast at the counter, flirting so shamelessly that they didn't notice I had walked in, until I shut the refrigerator door, after grabbing two water bottles.
"Ah," Uraraka yelped, "you scared me, Todo!"
"Morning, Raka. Sato," I nodded my head at the latter.
"Hey, Todoroki," Sato nodded back.
"Want to come spar with us today? Tsu, Momo, Toru, and I are going to work on our hand-to-hand skills and we need new opponents. All of us girls in 3A have become pretty equally matched," Raka asked with a bit of a prideful tone.
"Not today. Midoriya and I have plans. Have you asked Shoji and Ojiro? They're watching tv," I said, gesturing towards the sitting area.
"Oh, yeah, they both already agreed to come, but the more the merrier, you know? If you guys change your mind, we'll be in Gym Gamma between 11 and 4 today," Uraraka said, with a smile.
"I'll keep that in mind," I said, waving over my shoulder at the pair as I left the kitchen.
I was half-way to the front entrance, when Midoriya came bounding down the stairs, wearing grey cargo shorts and an off-white tee with an olive green pocket and trim around the short sleeves.
Cute. No. Stop it, Shoto.
"How are you not sore from all that running yesterday," I asked with a grimace.
