Bakugou's POV:

Rescue training at the USJ with Thirteen. My favorite. And to top it off, I was stuck with Kaminari and Ashido in The Downpour Zone. Through constant rain and hurricane force winds, we were expected to evacuate 'civilians' from flooded areas and unstable structures, while dealing with flying debris, uprooted trees, and downed power lines. With our quirks, it was a nightmare.
Electro Dolt whined about his quirk being useless in the rain and tried to give up before we even started. I blasted him in the face and used him as a human lightening rod to redirect electrical currents that could have potentially harmed anyone else. Ashido and I were only able to use our quirks to melt or blast away obstacles in our way. I was grounded. Any attempt at trying to fly around in those winds would've been stupid. It was slow and tedious work, but we got the job done and squished our way back to the locker rooms with an acceptable grade.

"Oh man, you guys look rough." Eijiro had the audacity to say, all freshly showered with dry clothes on.

I glared at him and trudged over to my locker.

"Duuude, we got stuck in the rainy zone." Kaminari bitched.

"Yeah, kinda figured. Me and Sato looked the same when we came back from the Flood Zone."

I started peeling off my soaked costume and tried to tune out the conversation, but Dunce Face was on a different frequency.

"Thirteen is cruel for putting us all in situations where our quirks are practically useless. All of our teachers have no chill this year."

Opened my mouth to go off on the idiot, but Eijiro beat me to it. "Of course they're going harder on us this year, man. They're about to release us into the wild. We're not always going to be able to call for backup from a hero who has a quirk that's better suited to whatever situation we're in. It's gonna be up to us to figure it out and save as many people as we can."

He clapped Kaminari on the shoulder and he groaned pitifully and said something along the lines of, "You don't have any chill either," before Eijiro left the locker room laughing.

The sludge villain incident crossed my mind and I thought about Deku for a moment before I shook off the memory.
It was moments like that when I remembered why I put up with that big, dumb-haired doofus. Moments that made me want to say 'fuck it' and kiss Eijiro stupid right in front of everyone in the locker room.
Instead, I hid a grin, wrapped a towel around my waist, and stomped over to the shower stalls.

Didn't make it all the way there before the door banged open and Todoroki strode in. Dirt, dust, and debris fell off of him as he limped by me with his eyes partially closed. He stoped right outside a stall and removed his boots, bracers, and utility belt before stepping into the shower fully clothed.

"The fuck happened to you?"

"Rockslide."

He tilted his head back and turned the water on letting it spray directly in his face. He raised his arms to push his hair back and I noticed the rips and tears in his suit.

"You should go to Recovery Girl."

He leaned his head forward, letting the water run down his back. "She wasn't in her office."

Todoroki tilted his head back again and let the water run over his face and push his hair back. He stepped out of the spray wiping the water from his eyes and I realized I was staring like a fucking creep, so I entered the stall next to his and pulled the curtain closed. I heard the sound of his zipper and the swish of his own curtain before I turned the water on.
