Thursday July 8th

Midoriya's POV:

An alarm was going off somewhere within the building. I was running down long, dimly lit hallways filled with doors on both sides. An office building maybe? It was hard to say. Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust and grime, and the wallpaper was peeling from the walls. Mold was forming in some places and there were cracks running along the walls and the ceiling. Every door I tried was locked. The alarm was still blaring and I hadn't run into a single person or heard anything other than that awful alarm. I was frantically searching for any sort of off switch by that point. The only thoughts going through my mind were completely focused on turning off that gods forsaken noise.
When...

A nudge at the edge of my consciousness. "-ku."

A gentle shake. "-zuku."

A warm hand laid heavily on my cheek. "Izuku, please do something about your alarm. It's been going off for five minutes."

I slowly crawled my way out of subconsciousness and groaned when I realized where the alarm had been coming from the entire time.
I rolled over and angrily swiped my finger across my phone, successfully shutting off the sound that had been plaguing my restless sleep.
I plopped over on my back with enough force to bounce the mattress and slung my left arm over my eyes with a loud huff.
Shoto slowly slid his hand across my stomach to wrap his arm around my waist, and laid his head on my chest. I reflexively brought my free hand to his hair and gently ran my fingers through the silky strands.

"Your alarm is obnoxious. I don't understand how you were sleeping through it." Shoto spoke in a drowsy voice that cut off with a yawn.

I let my arm fall from my eyes to rest on his bare back, so I could stare at the ceiling, "The alarm became part of my dream." He huffed a hot puff of air that I was able to feel through my thin t-shirt. "I was running around trying to figure out how to turn it off."

"Glad I woke you then. There's no telling how long you would've searched before realizing you couldn't find it because the alarm was going off in the real world."

I chuckled at Shoto's mild irritation and he retaliated by poking me in my side. I jerked away from the contact and he lifted his head to look at me quizzically.
"Izuku Midoriya, are you ticklish?"

I froze, "Whaaa? Ticklish? Me?"

Shoto raised a brow and dug a few fingers into my side. I squirmed and confirmed his suspensions. He smirked and my eyes widened as I braced myself for an onslaught that never came. Shoto only laid his head back down on my chest.
"That's good to know."

I gulped, "And what do you plan to do with this new intel?"

His cheek moved enough for me to feel that he was grinning, "Oh, I'm going to exploit it at my earliest convenience. Is anyone else privy to your weakness, hero?"

I snorted and laughed lightly, "Oh my gosh, Sho. You sound like a ridiculous villain in one of those old movies where the villain falls in love with a hero."

Shoto shifted so that we were nose to nose and he ghosted his fingertips along my side, "You didn't answer my question, hero."

My eyelids drooped and my lips brushed against his with my answer, "That's right I didn't."
I was tilting my head to lean in closer for a kiss, when he pulled back with his brow scrunched. "What?" I asked, completely confused with his sudden shift in demeanor.

"Izuku, you didn't answer my question. In fact, now that I think about it, you didn't answer my question about you being ticklish either."

Eyes widened in sudden realization and we both sat up. "Ask me another question."
