Thursday July 1st
Kirishima's POV:
"Wait up, Bakubro!" Katsuki was on the second flight of stairs before I caught up to him. "Hey, what's going on with you?"
"Need a shower," he grumbled, steadily climbing the stairs, with his hands in his pockets, scowling straight ahead.
I sighed, "Don't do that. You know what I mean."
"I'm not doing anything besides trying to get to my room, so I can get my stuff to go take a shower."
We climbed the next flight of stairs in silence, before I decided to probe again, "After we take our showers, will you come to my room and talk to me? Tell me what's really on your mind?"
I watched him close his eyes and take a deep breath. I could almost hear him counting down in his head, before he exhaled through his nose. "Yeah."
He opened his eyes and didn't say anything else, but he wasn't scowling quite as hard and he did agree to talk, so I took it. We parted ways to go to our separate rooms, without another word passed between us. I grabbed some clean PJs and my bathroom bag, and headed back out of my room. Katsuki was waiting for me in the hall, and I couldn't suppress a smile. He may not always talk to me, but Katsuki always did little things to show that he cared. We walked to the elevator and, when it opened, Todoroki was standing inside.
"Tch."
"Hey, Todobro! You headed to the showers, too?"
"Yes. You all managed to give me quite the workout today," he spoke in his usual monotone.
The elevator doors closed behind Katski and I, and Kat stood in the far corner, scowling and ignoring us completely. "Right? I knew Midobro was good, but I think he's been holding back on us during class. He was a total beast out there today!"
Todoroki just nodded and the elevator doors opened on the 2nd floor.
"Speak of the devil!" I smiled at Midoriya.
"Tch."
"You guys talking about me?" I moved closer to Todoroki, so Midoriya could step in. He tilted his head slightly to the side, with a cute, confused look on his face.
Ack! Stop with the cute shit.
"Kirishima was just speculating over whether or not you hold back during regular training. You seemed to have a lot more power and focus today," Todoroki answered for me.
"Oh," Midoriya had a really soft look on his face when he spoke. "I think I'm just less worried about using my quirk around you guys. I don't think I necessarily hold back during class exercises, I'm just more wary. Also, I had to go a little Plus Ultra today with all of you attacking me at once. Thanks so much for that." He spoke the last bit sarcastically.
"No problem," I grinned. "Any time."
Midoriya rolled his eyes at me and I laughed as we all exited the elevator and walked towards the showers. When we reached the bathroom, we all grabbed separate stalls. I showered quickly, dressed in a plain white t and blue pajama bottoms, and ended up finishing first, so I sat on the long bench outside the stalls to wait for Katsuki. I scrolled on Insta on my phone for a bit, and heard the water turn off in Midoriya's stall. There were a few minutes of rustling around, before he jerked open the curtain and came out only wearing dark blue basketball shorts, low on his hips. He dropped his bag, towel, and pile of dirty clothes on the opposite end of the bench. I watched drops of water fall from his hair, to his shoulders, and continued watch those drops slide down his scarred back, as he dug through his bag.
