Todoroki's POV:
I woke to something tickling my nose. I opened my eyes, only to be met with fluffy tufts of green hair.
Midoriya slept in my bed last night.
I fell asleep with my back to him, but somehow woke up spooning. My left arm was stretched out, his head nestled in the crook of my elbow, and his right hand was resting on my wrist. My right arm was flung over his waist and his body was completely flush with mine. I became painfully aware that I was sporting morning wood, so I gently eased my body back so I wasn't pressing it against him.
Gods, how can one person be cute and hot at the same time. I can feel his muscles through his shirt. How is this happening right now? I need to calm down before he wakes up. This is ridiculous.
"Todo," my breath hitched and Midoriya squeezed my arm. "You gotta control your quirk. It's too warm and I was really comfortable," he mumbled.
"Sorry," I murmured into his hair. It smelled like sour apple candy.
"S'okay."
I used my right side to regulate my temperature and Midoriya released a small sigh.
"Thank you," I felt him grin against my arm.
"My pleasure," I spoke breathily against the back of his neck and he shivered.
Damn it, Shoto. You're supposed to be calming down, not getting more excited.
"Todo?"
"Hmm?"
"What time is it?"
I craned my neck around to glance at my alarm clock, so I wouldn't have to let go of Midoriya, "4:14."
We laid there in silence for a few minutes, as I thought about training with the old man, grandmas, Mineta and anything really to try to force my problem to go away. It was working pretty well, until Midoriya turned in my arms to face me. He hugged himself mid torso, like he wasn't sure what to do with his hands. I willed myself to stay calm as he studied my face with his big emerald eyes. His brows cutely scrunched together in thought and I knew he wanted to ask me something, so I patiently waited for him to speak, while I fought the urge to count the freckles dusting his cheeks.
"Todo?" I looked back into his eyes.
"Do you... do you like me?" Shit, don't panic. Stay cool, don't overheat. "I mean, like, more than a friend?" His face was beet red.
I took a deep breath. "Yes," I breathed.
I felt his body tense and his eyes widened slightly.
I saw his adam's apple bob as he swallowed hard, "For how long?"
I studied his face, trying to read his expression. "Since first year. After Hosu," I spoke softly.
He hesitantly brought his left hand to the side of my head and I held my breath. He placed his palm on the right side of my face and gently rubbed his thumb across my cheek. I closed my eyes and sighed contently, leaning further into his touch. I felt him shift his weight and I let my eyes flutter open. He had propped himself up on his elbow and drug his gaze from my eyes to my lips. I lifted my right hand from his waist and brought it to the back of his head, digging my fingers into his soft messy hair. He bit his lip again, and it was taking every bit of will power I had not to catch the entire room on fire.
"Can I kiss you?" he whispered, blushing madly.
My heart skipped a few beats and my body temperature rose significantly as I looked in his eyes. I couldn't speak, so I just nodded my head. He leaned forward, sliding his hand from my cheek down to the back of my neck, and softly pressed his lips to mine. I immediately kissed him back and our lips moved together. I tightened my grip on his hair, he gasped into the kiss, and I felt like I was going to burst into flames.
