You started to rustle awake. Movements were minimal as you suddenly realized how tangled up you were with Clyde. At some point in the night he had rolled halfway on top of you head resting on your chest. Your legs were wrapped around one of his thick strong thighs. Both of your arms were wrapped around each other. Lost in the new comfort that was replacing the loneliness of the night the two of you had both come accustomed to.
Your eyes settle on his face as you wipe the sleep from them. Watching him breath long steady warm breaths against your chest. He was truly handsome. Probably the most handsome man you'd ever seen. You couldn't deny the truly charming features of his nose, freckles scattering his skin, and the way his hair perfectly shaped and complemented his face. How is this even happening?, you thought as you carefully swiped a few rogue locks out of his face.
He was sleeping so peacefully, almost too peacefully like he hadn't slept this good in a while. It twisted your heart in a twinge to think that this sweet good man hadn't slept well. You just lay there with him for a few more minutes enjoying the closeness of another person you didn't realize your body had been longing for. That was till you knew you had to get up to get ready for your early lunch shift at the diner. You try to slip away without disturbing him.
Clyde felt you start to stir causing him to react. His weight shifted and arms squeezed around you firmly holding you close. His eyes stay closed saying with a low morning growl, "where do you think you're going?"
You couldn't stifle your breathy giggle. Leaning down you place a soft kiss to his cheek. With a soft voice you say, "bathroom. Go back to sleep."
A moment goes by and he lets go of you. Slipping through you untangle yourself. Clyde listens to the soft steps of your bare feet on the hardwood floor trying not to bother him. He sleepily smiles to himself as he rolls over. Laying there he registered how well he actually slept and it was all because of you.
Usually he tosses and turns till finally his body gives in to the drowsiness, but even then he's haunted by bad memories of when he was deployed or silent worries that consume him. Most nights he'd just read and drink alone till sleep was too difficult to fight off. However, last night was different. It was perfectly peaceful because he held you in his arms all night. He was able to surrender himself to your overflowing warm calmness that seeped into each and every one of his pores.
He knew that there was no going back to sleep without you here now. After contemplating all of this and stretching out his extra long body he heard you turn the shower on. An idea popped in his head as his thoughts of you were driving his morning wood to harden almost achingly.
Dropping your clothes in a little pile on the floor you step under the warm steady stream. You start with your hair giving it a good scrub then rinse out the shampoo. Now adding conditioner you hear heavy footsteps moving around the trailer. Continuing on you massage your fingers in your hair, closing your eyes, and humming carelessly.
Clyde made his way to the doorway of your small bathroom. Leaning into the frame he watched as your silhouette moved behind the curtain and your velvety hum filled the steamy air. His eyes caught your clothes on the ground. Your cute little polka dotted cotton panties laying there urged his need for you. He let out a low gruff and stepped towards the shower with one quick motion he pulled it open.
The sudden action jolted you from your mindlessness. Reactively your arms cover yourself as you spin to lock eyes with Clyde. His eyes roamed your body, sending unexpected excitement through you. You match his grin and say breathy, "oh Hi."
He stood there and took you in for a moment. All natural with no makeup, naked, tattoos scrolled across your wet skin, completely just yourself. You were the most gorgeous woman he'd ever laid his eyes on. He lets out a deep breath asking, "can I join you sunshine?"
