AN: I'm so sorry for the way but I hope you enjoy!
Love, Liz

It was a warm late summer morning. The breeze was thankfully blowing good, so you cracked open your windows and door. You shuffled around your little trailer deciding to try to tackle unpacking one of the boxes you've let sit for far too long. You hummed to whatever tune played on the old handheld radio you had Clyde position on top of the fridge the other day to get the best reception. Getting into a grove of putting dishes in a cabinet while you waited for Clyde to come over your mind was lost in your new little world you had created.
Clyde was on his way over ready to spend your day off together, but mostly to help you repair and fix some things around the trailer. "It's not old, it has character," he can hear your annoyingly adorable voice repeating itself every time he points something out in the back of his mind. After a while Clyde realized you weren't going to ask for help no matter how many times he told you to. He finally decided he'd just do it, because he couldn't worry about you falling through the bowed wood on your porch steps another goddamn day among the other countless odds and ends that needed to be done.
Pulling up he parked his Pontiac next to the Bronco. His new designated spot. As he came up he noticed you had put up freshly cleaned white sheets to dry on the line. Walking up the porch he skipped the bad step. He followed the tune of your hum walking through your door pleasantly welcomed to find you swaying in little circles as you found a place to put your coffee mugs.
Clyde stood in the doorway for a minute enjoying the moment. You were completely unaware of his presence doing your own thing lost in your mundane task. Clyde was taken aback by how effortlessly beautiful you were. Your hair was cutely tied back with a couple braids to keep the baby hairs at bay. You had thrown on a thin tank top with a pair of light washed old overalls you had cuffed at the bottom.
Continuing to shuffle around your bare feet tapped to the tune of whatever song was playing till you caught a shadow out of the corner of your eye. Turning to double take you noticed Clyde standing there watching you.
"You bout scared me half to death Clyde Logan." You gasped while a hand held your chest.
He let out a hearty warm chuckle starting to walk over to you holding his arms open in an apologetic way, "I'm sorry Sunshine."
Your eyes narrowed but your lips couldn't stop from smirking. "Yeah, yeah whatever."
He wrapped his arms around your waist hoisting you up a little causing you to yelp a giggle. "Please forgive me," he said playfully.
You steadied yourself by gripping his shoulders. Finding those gorgeously warm eyes of his you say, "I guess so."
"You better." He gruffed while leaning in to steal a kiss. You couldn't keep playing along with those soft perfect lips so close. You leaned in fluently, loving the way his facial hair sent little tingles of bliss straight to your chest.
Clyde held you a little tighter and hummed into the kiss softly. He set you down knowing if he didn't nothing would get accomplished for the day. Pulling away he couldn't hide how happy you made him. He had lived so much of his life just going through the motions never really looking for a meaning or even a feeling other than loneliness. Until one day you walked into the bar.
A cute and shy smile lingered for a minute causing you to notice. With a curious look you asked, "what?"
He just nodded his head a little then said, "oh nothing."
Your eyes narrow again, noticing something behind the look but you didn't say anything. Instead you got a little smack to the ass and Clyde saying, "com'on we got a lot of work to do Darlin'."
