Warning: Smut
————————————
The gorgeous West Virginian hills and mountains started coming into view as Clyde drove down those old back roads. Full green woods filled your view. You spotted fields filled with wildflowers you loved. The summer evening air was warm, comfortably sticking to your skin. Classic rock songs played on the radio humming along as you got lost in the simple ways of this small town.
Clyde took you all around the small town. Showing you all the important spots like the actual grocery store, post office, and different little establishments you needed to know of.
Then he took you down to Main Street parking on a side road. He hurried over and opened your door and helped you out. Main Street was filled with different little mom and pop shops, town hall, and a couple of fun little stores for tourism you supposed.
The two of you walked up and down the street next to each other closely. With his height your shoulders brushed his biceps. Every time you went into a shop he'd lead you in by placing his hand on the low of your back. Almost back to the car he told you, "follow me" as he showed you a small little shop on the opposite corner.
Your face lit up with excitement as you realized it was a music shop. He showed you in and it wasn't much, but it was the fact that he thought you would like it and made it a purpose to show you that made it special.
You walked around looking through different records and cds. There was a small selection of acoustic guitars. Fingers brush the strings as you pass. A soft elderly rasp introduced themself. It was the shop owner Daisy. She was Incredibly kind and excited to have someone stop in. Clyde liked how you effortlessly flitted around from one thing to the next. He could see your mind working sifting and categorizing through your music taste catalog in your mind. You were always so kind to someone new, so easily digging your claws into the new found friendship. Before leaving you reassured Daisy you'd definitely be back in to shop or just talk. She was thrilled.
Clyde and you walked back over towards the car ready for what he had in store next. He drove down some more really stunning country roads filled with more fields and full dark forest green trees. You watched out the window thinking, it can't get better than this.
As he kept driving he'd catch a look over at you. He felt almost lucky to have you sitting so close to him. Luck was something the Logan's never had enough of. Clyde thought he would never get it again apart from helping with the heist, but here you were. Just happily giving up your time to be with him.
Pulling down a familiar road he came to a stop in front of the Duct Tape. A little surprised you looked at Clyde hopping out saying, "be right back Darlin'." You watched him run in to grab his order. He had taken note of what you've ordered at the grill and the diner and felt pretty confident in ordering you food. He came back to the car with a bag of food and a bottle of something. He put the food in the trunk. Then he was back in the driver's seat quickly pulling out of the parking lot.
"Where're we going now?" You gave him a smirk honestly wondering what else he could have planned.
He matched your smirk and said, "it's a surprise Darlin'."
Your smirk grew into a smile thinking about what the surprise could be. Also by the fact that he keeps calling you Darlin' making you all weak in the knees for him. That low, kind, respectful voice made your stomach flutter. It would catch you off guard sometimes in the best way possible.
A few more minutes of comfortable excited driving Clyde pulled off then started down a gravel road. You kept watching to see if you could figure it out, but honestly there was no point. You had only seen the whole town once. After a couple turns he pulls off to the side parking the car. You notice a flat area and a field looking towards some hills with a nice view of the melting edge orange sunset starting to take shape. He came and opened your door again offering a hand to help you out. You were speechless. The view was gorgeously painting the sky a pinky orange color as the sun started to dip behind the hills. Clyde watched your reaction feeling accomplished by the quiet smile you had. Stepping around towards the trunk you follow him. He hands you a large blanket.
