22: After

"Good morning," says Youn as he sees Mint, who is busy preparing breakfast for everyone.

"Morning, sir! Have a seat," Mint looks at him and smiles, handing him a mug of coffee.

"Thanks," Youn sips the coffee slowly, and Mint places the breakfast in front of him.

"Where's Taylor and Cole?"

"Still in dreamland," Mint replies. Youn nods.

"Mint, can you help me?" asks Youn.

"How can I help you, sir?"

"Can you help me make a hangover soup?" Mint frowns, as Youn doesn't look hungover at all.

"For whom?" Youn gestures for Mint to come closer. He whispers something to him, and Mint gasps. But later, he nods, understanding the situation.

"Okay, let's get started," says Mint.

Taylor opens his eyes when he hears sounds coming from the kitchen. He looks at his side, but Mint is not there. Only Cole remains in the room, still sleeping. He slowly gets up from the bed and opens the door. Laughter and talking can be heard from the kitchen.

He discreetly looks from behind the wall and sees Mint and Youn cooking together. They seem really happy and are enjoying the process. Taylor feels a tinge of annoyance at the scene. He can't tolerate Youn's actions.

He storms into the kitchen, startling both of them. Maintaining his poker face, he grabs a bottle of mineral water from the refrigerator.

"Morning, Tay!" says Mint.

"Oh, you're awake! Come join us for breakfast," says Youn.

"Later, wait for the others," Taylor says coldly to Youn. Youn looks puzzled by his actions, but Taylor ignores them and goes back to his room.

"Let him be, sir. Sometimes he's like that, especially in the early hours. He'll be fine later," says Mint. He knows Taylor well and understands that he can be quite grumpy in the morning.

"Is it ready?" Youn asks Mint. Mint nods and turns off the stove.

"Wanna bring it to her room?" Mint asks.

"Are you nuts? Taylor will catch me later," Youn says, blushing at the mention of Rae.

"Okay, I'll stay here. I'll go wake her up," Mint says.

"Wake the others as well," Youn suggests. Mint excuses himself and walks out of the kitchen, not noticing Taylor hiding behind the wall, eavesdropping on their conversation.

So, you two are trying to play around behind Rae's back!

And here I thought Mint was the one who might get heartbroken!

It's time to go home. Jazz and Joe are planning a short trip since it's their day off. Taylor, Mint, Cole, and Youn need to go to school for orchestra practice. Rae is still recovering from the hangover, so she decides to stay at home.

On the way to practice, Taylor doesn't talk much. He's fuming inside every time he sees Mint and Youn talking to each other. He can't believe they betrayed Rae behind her back. His heart feels hurt every time he thinks about it.

"Tay, how about ice cream after practice?" Mint asks. Taylor doesn't answer and keeps walking, leaving Mint and Cole behind.

"Well, he's moody today!" Cole remarks.

"Is he talking to you today?"

"No, I even kissed him, but he just gave me the cold shoulder," Cole replies.

"What's wrong with him, actually?" Mint wonders.

"I didn't do anything! I just woke up, and he's like that!" Cole gets frustrated. It's becoming more confusing by the minute. Both men try to figure out what they might have done wrong.

"Just thinking about this gives me a headache. Let's think about it later. Practice first," Mint suggests. He's upset with Taylor, but there's nothing he can do right now. He decides to let Taylor cool down and sort out his feelings.

Cole follows Taylor from behind, trying to talk to him.

"Tay.. baby.." he grabs Taylor's wrist, pulling him towards his body.

"I need to leave.."

"What's wrong with you today? What's with the cold shoulder?" Cole asks him.

"Leave me alone, Cole.." Taylor snaps. Since they officially started dating, this is the first time Cole has heard Taylor talk to him like that. Taylor is clearly angry right now.

"Okay.. you know we can talk about it, right? What's wrong with you?" Cole insists. He deserves to know the truth.

"I have no mood to talk about it, especially with you.." Taylor replies coldly, giving Cole a dismissive gaze.

"What did I do wrong, Tay? Just tell me so I can fix it. You know we need to discuss things if something is troubling us? That's how a relationship works," says Cole. Taylor scoffs at his words.

"Save your relationship advice for your brother. I think he needs it more than me right now!"

"What are you talking about? I don't understand!" Cole says, confused.

"Look, Cole, can you remind your brother not to fool around with people's hearts? I know he's attractive and all, but that's not a reason for him to play around!" Taylor says.

"I don't understand any of this, baby... Please, let's sit down and talk about it!" Cole pleads, holding Taylor's hand tightly.

"I'm done talking. I'm leaving right now. Tell Mr. Wu to stop playing with my sister's heart like that. If he and Mint think it's funny to have an affair behind her back, please tell him I won't let them hurt her! Never!" says Taylor, pulling his hand away and walking away.

"What's wrong, Cole? Where is Taylor?" asks Mint, coming out from the practice room with Youn. Cole looks at both of them with a frown on his face.

"Are you two in a relationship right now?" Cole suddenly asks them. Mint is shocked to hear that. He looks at Youn, who shakes his head.

"Seriously, Cole?" asks Mint.

"Yeah, I am right now. Please don't keep any secrets that will affect my relationship with my boyfriend!" Cole almost yells at them.

"Mint, just tell him, please. I don't think I can right now!" Youn tries to control himself.

"Look, there's nothing between us, okay! I don't love your brother the way you think. I just... I don't have any siblings, so I look at him as my brother. Besides, I have a potential girlfriend right now.." Mint explains everything to Cole.

"So, we have some explaining to do right now! Let's find Taylor!" says Cole.
