She glares at the man who now sits on the stool, right in front of her with a coffee mug in his hand. Rae pretends to get busy with breakfast, trying to avoid him.
"It's a nice hanok. I thought it was kinda old when Joe sent me the photo. But I guess it's much better than the bungalow that I recommended to him," says Jackson, sipping the coffee slowly while trailing his gaze on her.
"It's quite small and homey rather than some huge mansion. Cleaning is so much easier, I guess.." says Rae. She glances at the clock nonstop. Youn will be here soon. She feels nervous at the thought of him seeing Jackson here.
"I can send you some maids.."
"Thank you for your generosity, but there's no need for that. I can live on my own and Tay—" Rae puts her mug on the counter. She looks at him with a sharp look.
"Just cut to the chase, Jack. Why are you here?" she asks him with a serious tone. Jackson is the last person she wants to meet right now. Well, there's another one, but she can't meet that person again.
"Come back home with me," he holds her hand. She pulls back and sighs.
"Your home isn't my home anymore, Jack. You should realize that.." she calmly says to him.
He stands up, trying to entwine her fingers with his.
"We can start over, I mean.. we can get married again. This time in a proper way, with the wedding ceremony and so on. The Yu House cannot lose its lady. And I can only see you as The Lady Yu," says Jackson.
"No,"
"Raehannah.."
"That's not my name anymore!" she yells at him. He looks at her and is shocked at how much she's changed after five years. She is not Raehannah anymore. She's just Rae, a girl that he met five years before he became her husband.
"Please leave, Jack. This isn't your place, and as much as I hate to say this... You're not welcome here.." and as much as she hates the man, she still maintains her polite manner. He once was her husband, and the respect is still there.
"I know how much you hate me. But Rae, I can't accept anyone but you. Only you. I can only love you. Life is hard after you left. And I can't deal with that anymore," he now stands in front of her, looking at her with a serious face. He means it. Every single alphabet, every single word, every single part of it. Each one of them.
The doorbell makes them startled. Rae quickly sweeps Jackson away. She runs towards the door, knowing who's behind it. She opens it, and the man hugs her tight.
"Morning, love.." Youn gives her a deep kiss.
"Er... Youn... I.." she's about to say something when Jackson comes out from the kitchen, smiling at her.
"Oh.. baby, you didn't tell me we have a guest.." Youn looks at him with a frown. He looks at Jackson, who stands handsomely in front of him.
"Here we go again.. stop calling me baby, and stop pretending that we have a relationship, Jack!" Rae rushes as she walks back into the kitchen. Youn follows her from behind, so does Jackson.
"I need some explanation here, baby.." Youn sarcastically looks at her. Who wouldn't be pissed off if their girlfriends have seen them with another man in her house, early in the morning when she looks beautiful the most?
She sighs. Yes, this man is ready to have a rumble and tantrum again. Rae knows Youn; in the act of jealousy, he will throw a fit and have a bad day today.
But she also knows that Youn hates liars. So, better to say the truth or things will escalate. She sees Jackson too, entering the kitchen, leaning himself on the counter, and crossing his arms to his chest.
